Boxing orgs needs to get their shit together and make fights that fans want. The sport is slowly being taken over by pathetic YouTubers and exhibitions. Sad. Less people caring means less $ for them.
Not saying it will happen overnight, but the sport cannot survive with only hard core fans.

He weighed 269 for a bout last year in February. He's weighed as light as 211. He's mostly been in the 230's, and most recently weighed in at 224 for that Morrison bout. I wonder what his weight will be for this one..?!
For some reason I'm sensing that he will weigh in between 228-230.

As for Jake Paul, what will he weigh..?!
He's been either at 189 or 190 so far. And that's a slightly chubbed out 189 and 190 as well..!!
That's only a small cruiserweight. Like,..a Jr cruiserweight, if they had that as a division.
He's going to Have to weigh-in At Least at 201, right..?!
I guess if he's aways under that, they'd let him wear steel toe boots and a snowsuit to weigh over 200..? :maybe:
quote 'in a cruiserweight bout'!

what the heck is going on?

so 5' 10''/190 'chubby jakey' fights 6' 3" rahman who fought as heavy as 278! and weighed in at 225 in his last bout AT FRIKKIN CRUISERWEIGHT???

am I getting that actually right?

I admit I'm a bit confused...

is rahman junior gonna have to drain down to 200 or even 190 to share the ring with chubby little jakey??

junior rock is gonna be in the shape of his life then!

Fury weighted 400+lb and made mid 250s since... so why cant rahman who weighed 278 once make 200lb?

Rahman was 215 last year at heavyweight... meaning he would of been hydrated and have eaten. that probably sugest he is stock standard cruiserweight size without even trying. lose a couple lbs of fat, dont eat as much pre weigh in and do a water cut 200lb shouldent be tricky at all.

I hope its not jake pauls 190lb thing though like other fights, Raham could easily make it with time, but it would be a stretch for him to make 190lb short notice.

No. No way this will be a CW bout. I don't care what the poster is declaring.

Rahman Jr, He Might weigh 220, maybe Maybe 215, at the lightest. No way he comes in lighter than that !

Jake Paul will be Extra Bulked up ! That's what I'm now Really Sensing.

205 will likely be JP's weight ! He's going to Carb Up Big-time !

Pretty bold prediction. Paul has never faced a real boxer.
Rhaman ain't much of a boxer but he had a real amateur career and has 13 pro fights.

I predict that J.P will get the Win.
2nd or 3rd round TKO.
Then he will proceed to box against Both Morrison brothers.
He will win against them too.
Then, he will go against someone Really Interesting.
"Kownacki" , or "Helanius", or that older fellow that Tko'd "Trey Lippe Morrison" in the first round.
And if he wins "That Bout", I think J.P could be going against a ranked #3 or #4 HW contender by that point in time.

His team has studied Rahman and are confident Paul will beat him.
The fight would not be happening if they had any doubts.

no insult, but you are either insane or just joking around. nothing you post makes any sense whatsoever.

jake paul wouldn't last a single round in a legit professional boxing contest against 'kownacki' or 'helanius' or any other 'ranked' heavyweight at whatever 'point in time'. if he resorts to literally running away inside the ring without getting disqualified he may survive one round but I doubt that.

We'll just have to agree to disagree then, on whatever given thing that I'm forming a personal opinion on.
Simple as that.
I didn't predict that J.P is going to win all of his bouts.
Seems that you misconstrued my possible scenarios, as being definitive predictions.
It's not like I blatantly declared something that's downright delusionally outlandish. I've never stated that "Mr. J.P" is the next coming of Mike Tyson or Rocky Marciano. I Do think that with 3 more bouts, including the one coming up, that J.P would have a decent punchers chance against someone in the fringe-contender calibre, such as Kownacki, Helanius, or the last fellow I mentioned.
If then he actually pulled off the win against one of those final 3 that I made special note of, and if impressively enough, Then I could see him going against a HW who is ranked #3 or #4(Within the top-5 basically).
What is So Crazy and Outlandish and Nonsensical as that being a Possible Scenario..?!

there's weight classes for a reason.

there's also a reason why heavyweight boxers trained practically their whole life before they get 'ranked'.

should paul make heavyweight in the future and a legit real fight between him and any legit ranked heavyweight should really happen, that fight would be over very quickly and he would possibly get hurt quite seriously...

at whatever future point in time, Jake will never have the slightest chance to not get knocked out in the first round by any legit ranked heavyweight.

no matter when, no matter which actual 'ranked heavyweight', no matter what.

if u don't understand that any trained, ranked heavyweight boxer would make very quick work of jake paul in whatever shape he may be at any point in the future, I really can't help you.

rock jr is much bigger, had a solid amateur career where he reached the finals of national competition, and has a 12-1 pro record, where as paul's previous opponents were all 0-0 or 0-1

it's a massive step up, and if he wins legit and it's not an obvious flop from rock i'll be impressed - quite the achievmeent for a guy with no am career who only started a few years ago

my spidey sense is that rock's been paid very well to know his place though...

If paul beats rahman its an indictment on how bad boxing is as a whole that a youtube novelty is beating well trained fighters

And rock jr is well trained

If they were not friends and Paul was not the cash cow with ability to grow fatter I would say Rahman beats him down with ease.

Too much shade involved here though to expect Rock Jr to be giving 100%.

I still hope he is working Paul coming into it and then decides to blow him out. I know he would whip Paul 99 out of 100 if he came to win and that the 1 out of 100 would be more likely to be from an injury than losing to Paul. He is just too damn real for someone like Paul to beat straight up. Bigger and more skilled.

"Rock Jr"?

Any fight with the last name Paul in it makes me want to throw up. If "Rock Jr" doesn't KO him, he should immediately retire, and hang his head in shame.

These ""Top Class Boxers"" brought it on themselves, with Greed and Laziness.

It's turned them into a pile of Greedy Cowards, instead of choosing to be The Warriors that they're Supposed to be.

"Jake Paul" is The Court Jester amongst a failed kingdom of Greedy Diva acting """Top Rated Boxers"", that Won't have more than one bout per year.

On another side note, does anyone remember when a well past it, Blown Up 5'10 Slow Natural Middleweight fattened himself up to HW to take on Evander Holyfield..? And was actually quite competitive for the first several rounds, before getting some Goopy stuff burning into his eyes forcing a corner stoppage...?
Bobby Czyz was all Heart and Toughness. He Never developed Real Boxing Skills. Tony Galento is another Great example.

J.P Hits Hard. He Trains Hard. He's Hungry and has that Uncivilized Animalistic Desire, while training, And while in the ring.
It doesn't take Much skill at all to win bouts, providing you have a Good Suzie Q Equalizer on hand. Wilder is probably the Ultimate example of that. Even "Artur the punching bag Szpilka" , with his sub-average punching power, and lack of true boxing skills, was actually making Wilder look relatively ordinary for the first 8 rounds of they're 2016 bout.

Obviously the reason being, Wilder is clumsy(Bad Legs)and has Very limited boxing skills, But..Yes. It doesn't matter in Most bouts, because, He hits like a Truck. Most boxers are in Big Danger facing someone who punches extra hard, and are also Very motivated.
J.P Obviously has punching power well above average. Average punching power Would not have Flattened Woodley like that. That was one single punch. Woodley was face-planted by that punch. That takes punching power Way Above Average !

Nah, there's a lot of fighters in boxing looking for the easiest fight possible to protect their o. Or, when they get a belt, fighting the weakest opposuition available. The boxer could always tell the promoter, "No, I want to fight someone good"

It's common with British fighters. Get a belt and then coast on lacklustre defences as long as possible, until the cherry pick goes wrong and the unknown Mexican knocks them out.

I'm not even gonna reply to this absolute nonsense.

just one thing:
bobby Czyz started boxing at 6 years old. to say he never developed any 'real boxing skills' is simply stupendous and plain wrong and just shows you are 100 percent clueless.

any version of bobby Czyz from the moment he turned pro until he retired would've absolutely obliterated jake paul as of now in a single round.
