Chisora won't retire, this will lead to at least one more payday, as an opponent, but an opponent in a big fight

it was a close fight, no problem with the decision and i had it 115-114 chizzy myself. chisora easily couldve gotten wins over parker and whyte but those decisions went against him in close ones. also clearly shouldve gotten the W vs helly

was about time he got a break with the judges

I scored teh fight as objectively as I could.

Pulev won a close fight by a round or two. I had it 7-5 to Pulev. I can see how others thought Chisora won as a couple of the rounds could have gone either way, but that also applies to the rounds I gave Chisora.

Pulev landed the cleaner work and was much busier. I felt this wa sa case of "Let`s give Del a close one at last". I understand that but it doesnt make it right.

Why not.

Ben already said, they’re working with different promoters.

Salita, Top Rank, Boxxer, Matchroom are already involved.

Struggle to take Curtis seriously. This clown got triggered by someone trolling him online and had a temper tantrum.

Wasn’t it 116-113

Could have been. Not sure

It was 116-114

Weird score
6 rounds to four with two even.Even rounds are frowned upon but in tough close fights i think they are okay

Was I the only one who thought the fight was terrible in quality? Both looked completely shot. Pulev looked like he was fighting through treacle and Chisora seemed to be hurt by shots that were soft……

Pulev uses his shots well. They all look soft, but he mixes his soft shots with his power shots well.

I kinda know what you mean.

I think the fact that it was fast paced most of the time and shots were being landed made up for it.

Plus it was a very pro Chisora night.

Comparing to other Pulev fights his shots seemed so slow and laboured. It was fairly exciting but really seemed like 2 shot carthorses. Made a decent fight but the quality was poor.

It was a close fight either way, I don't have a problem with Chisora just winning it. A lot of Pulev punchers last night seemed like Arm punches and seemed to lack power, thought I was watching a female boxer last night at times. Any snap from Pulev last night and he would have easily stopped Chisora.

Would like to see Chisora Whyte 3 rather than Wilder. Wilder will probably knock Chisora out quick.

I had Chisora winning the 1st, 2nd and the 10th. The rest was Pulevs although a couple of rounds could have been shared at most.

Chisora got a 'Homey' decision last night. But lets face it. the combined age of both fighters was about 80. Sky were trying to dress it up as something it was not. In reality it was a prawn cocktail made with crabsticks!

Pulev boxed more accurately and methodically. Derek was 'retaliatory brawling' with occasional success to the body as well.

There is no way Chisora won that fight. But Eddie will exhume him again for one last big payday. Watch out for Chisora v Whyte 3 on PPV or watch Derek against Lucas Browne in an 'eliminator'

FFS.......What on earth has matchroom become. It was an absolute tripe card, and all because Derek commands purses above and beyond his ability.

he has heart i agree, and as far as an evenly matched spectacle it was ok. But it wasnt a headliner act.

I sniffed a draw when they read out the first scorecard. But thank feck we didnt get that.

I agree with you James, but it was the matchmaking that made it good. They were both about as shot as each other, both as slow. But both had stamina and kept going. As far as HW fights go-it was decent and action packed :TU:

The young fighters are all hiding from each other and fighting old has beens and never was blobs waiting for their unearned chance at the big time.
The only young fighter taking a chance in the last few years was DDD Vs Joyce and that nearly paid off for him. You can tell that nearly paid off for him because they ain't talking rematch :OhYes:
