luis, and pretty much anyone, would have plenty more losses if they'd had del's schedule too
Of course. Because hyping Ortiz’s wins helped them elevate Wilder’s status.

Seems very split.

Strong amount of votes for 14, not many in between and then a strong amount for top 10.

I know the poll could have been different.

Those who are saying top 10.

What we going For?

#10?

#9?

In the comments I don’t think I’ve read anyone wrote more than #9.

Neither of these guys should rate. They are old and had their time.

Ring Magazine has the gold standard of top ten's and even their list is full of old men. Geez the heavyweight division is at the lowest point in terms of talent and the right fights continue not to be made.

Technically, these two weren’t top 10.

US heavyweights is very thin. Nothing much going on there.

It’s all European mostly.

Which is a shame.

When it did, US produced to belters back in the day.

Now days, these big tall mofo’s wild rather join the NBA or NFL.

Don’t blame them.

People voting out or 15 are outrageous. Has to go above Pulev, so that’s at least to 14… and he has just got a win that’s arguably better than otto, Joyce, Ortiz, Sanchez career best win. And probably on par with wilders career best win…

he is aging but better to be getting a good win old than sitting on your hands young.

It strange to vote him out. I still put the option to see what people think.

Yes it was a split decision that could have gone either way but it’s still a win, Chisora finally got the judges to give him a close one.M and against someone who was ranked above him.

If you had given the option "Chisora #1!"
You would get a few people voting that on the internet

I would be tempted myself

Pulev is the second best scalp in 2022 and Fury is retired so Chisora takes his place at the top of the rankings.

Realistically, it's a sad day when you realise that the only better victories than this in the past 12 months are Fury>Whyte (possibly retired), Parker>Chisora (unnecessary rematch), Usyk>AJ (11 months ago).

Tell me about it. Wilder is the best we have had in years, and is a very protected fighter who should be 0-3 vs a white UK based Fury and beat very few top then ring magazine fighters. When was the last time a USA based heavyweight won a significant match? 15+ years ago? Sad.

It's not the NBA or NFL, those two sports league we around in the 70, 80, 90, and 00's and it did not hurt USA heavyweight boxing one bit and there were plenty of really good ones, But the white based Europeans were not. At least the good ones were not for various geopolitical reasons didn't box professionally until the tail end of 1990's.

The UK, and Eastern Europe are dominating the highly ranked heavyweights. Take a look at the top 25 Box ranked guys at heavyweight. Only 3 of 25 are USA fighters, and 2 are OLD / and the one who's not at age 34 is no spring chicken.

Sad, pathetic, and weak.

Question: How does Dereck Chisora's [#15] split decision win over Kubrat Pulev [#11] affect the current rankings?
Chirsora to 11
Pulev to 13

Wow! The person he beat wasn’t even in the top 10 himself.

And now people want Chisora in the top 10.

Were the people that Joyce, Ortiz or Bakole beat ranked in the top 10?

you should know by now that getting to a certain rank doesnt require actually beating a guy that high, just takes doing more lately than your peers

Come join me on the Jared Anderson bandwagon
Best prospect from 'merica in ten years.
Realistically he is only early twenties, but shows good promise so far- we can bag him if he falls short later on.
But for now, a pretty exciting prospect.

pulev lost (deservedly or not, wasn't a robbery) to chisora who was 15. so pulev should go to 15.

why should guys who didn't fight drop a rank.

only thing that made sense from the start was to switch chisora/pulev's ranking.
