IF i were a betting man i wouldent be throwing away my "ray robinson next" ticket....margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 23:21aren't you sad you might not get your benn vs ray robinson dream match next?gregregegg wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 20:20 Geezes people hate benn. Fights someone small or old they cry. No he is in talks with someone Big and good and 32 and they are crying about him cashing out.
Sure, fighting a top welter would be nice, but geezes you have to appreciate this fight if it happens. its a grudge match, with 30 years history, between 2 of the UKs top guys, masssive step up for someone thats been relitivly protected. the bigger of the twos a bit slick, then smallers got great power and agression.
3 years ago Benn was universaly recognised as shit at 147lb. Now people are sooking about the prospect of him fighting a world levle middleweight. It might not be smart, but its fornicating fun if it happens.
P.s i actualy dont think this fight happens, Garath said it was sighned but weight not agree'd.... which is as good as not signed yet becauase thats the toughest part of the negotation....
although knowing how often top guys get thrown around for benn, only for him to not fight them, maybe you might after all![]()

If i was Benn i'd grab this fight with open arms ,, I would simply take it has a warning sign , a big warning sign I'm finished , his promoter even thinking of this one smells cash back , time to start getting my investment back ... after all theres lots to choose from starting with a couple of british level fights , European level in Adverysan , plenty of world level fights , and lets face it if Benn is the draw that himself and hearn keep telling people he is ,, they could be made because the moneys there , the big money every fighter hopes for ,,
But Benns constant bragging boasting and talking of fighting the best , followed with my team pick whats best for me , cos i'm only learning , followed by i drive a porche and a range rover , so you can all kiss my ass , followed by him NEVER EVER insisting, demanding and telling his promoter he wants a decent rated fighter , with Hearn allowing his cash cow too get beat , just suggests they know theve gone has far has they can on this road , he's ready for the highway , but just not capable of driving on it .

It would appear there is substance to the 'rumour' now with Nigel Benn having commented about it.
I still find it quite remarkable they would cash in on Conor Benn against Eubank jr.
This makes Hearn look kinda desperate too. Giving his biggest prospect away.
I can't help feeling the unfairness though - 2 very privileged spoon fed boxers who were brought up in luxury by millionaire parents .. being gifted millions because of that.

Yes Eubank jr has stepped up on a couple of occasions, although the BJS wasn't such a step up to be fair, and he's 6 years older than Conor too.

Think all the Matchroom schedule will be released today or tomorrow. Lots of fighters have said news soon.
They have done a good job of the fights not getting leaked this time.

Yeah - Eddie’s been pretty quiet and they have little announced at the moment so hopefully will be a load of shows.

Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is reportedly being held up by a dispute over the rehydration clause. It's understood that a 156lbs catchweight is agreed, but no resolution yet on the limit for a second weigh-in on the day of the fight itself. [According to

I don't know why anyone would entertain a rehydration clause when they are the A side or are an even draw? They shouldn't really be allowed anyway.Glass Joe wrote: ↑19 Jul 2022, 11:08 Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is reportedly being held up by a dispute over the rehydration clause. Chris should just tell him to go do one , , He'll still take it anyway , he's just simply backed himself into a corner with his bragging , boasting and running his mouth , he's got no where to go , he either fights a decent opponent at his own weight , gets beat , shows the world he's a hype job , or he loses to a bigger fella and gets kudo's for taking it on , Benn needs this one more than Eubank , so bowing down and being dictated too is something Eubank should not entertain ,
Rehydratio clauses should not be allowed , its simple , theres weight classes and your either in them or your not , if you want to put on weight and fight a bgger guy do it , but don't stipulate DANGEROUS clauses for the other fella
