In a perfect world, yes. The problem is, Charlo and Munguia refused to fight Andrade, Charlo and Munguia had promotional conflicts that prevented it, and Charlo refused to fight Benevidez after calling him out. Canelo has refused to fight Andrade for 8-10 yrs now, and never will. Canelo didn't want to fight Benevidez either.

All that leaves is Andrade and Benevidez fighting, but I think Morell and Benevidez will fight next. I hope the 3 battle it out. Canelo is tied up for a year now.

The funny thing is that Canelo had the balls to take risky-difficult fights vs Lara and Trout long time ago to get more recognition but Andrada was shying away when he had to take fights with Korobov, Charlo or Lara-Hurd winner.

But yeah I think atm both Benavidez and Andrade need each other bc no good name want to fight them.

Andrade was set to fight Lara, but he chose to fight Hurd. Hurd then lost next to Williams, easily. No one was ducking.

Canelo literally had to be drug in the ring to fight Lara, and we all sen why.

Trout fight scoring was bs. Trout had to play catch up with all knowing the score, so he fought different, but it was still a fairly close fight.

Hopefully Andrade gets a fight with Benevidez.

Demetrius Andrade has just stated that when he recovers from his injury, he intends to call out Caleb Plant, David Benavidez and Jermall Charlo.

All three of those guys are PBC fighters, with Boo Boo currently a promotional and network free agent.

He strongly implied, during the same interview with Fight-Hype, his apparent disinterest in defending his WBO world middleweight title against Top Rank’s Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.

It’s abundantly clear that it was Boo Boo that refused to take the Alimkhanuly bout during December of last year, rather than Eddie Hearn, since Demetrius is no longer aligned with Matchroom and he has just admitted (during an interview) the fact he doesn't really want to face Zhanibek.

Demetrius has dug himself into a deep hole, because if he doesn’t align himself with the PBC, with a view to facing Charlo, Plant and Benavidez next, but also refuses to take the Alimkhanuly bout (as per his recent remarks), then he may as well consider hanging up his gloves.

Put it this way, why would any of Andrade’s big-name rivals consider facing a moderately risky opponent that has no credibility, no title, no promoter, no network, and does not provide a big payday?

I really do hope I’m eventually proven wrong about this, but it seems abundantly clear that we’ll never see Demetrius Andrade fighting Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.

I doubt that those guys would fight him. Now that he's 34 y/o , he's in hurry to get a good fight. That ship has sailed long time ago.

Andrada would have a good chance to get Beefy Smith or Ryder in UK and make good money. Jacobs is another good name.

I hate stupid "call outs." Why did that ever become a thing? I keep harping on this, but Gvozdyk never "called out" Beterbiev. They just made the fight happened. I can't stand Andrade.

It's like, "I'm going to move up in weight and write a letter to the commissioner." Who gives a fornicate!? You aren't taking any fights and you're dropping out of fights, but you can crash press scrums and call out people on Twitter. That's how we tell who is best in their division by how many people they call out!

Andrade needs to just disappear. Seriously, I'll be so happy when someone finally beats this clown.

He just trying to buy more time/coasting until he lands a bigpayday fight vs a good name. He ain't gonna take risky fights.

If he wanted to establish his name he should've already fought Lara , Hurd, Korobov and one of the Charlos as he had the chance.

What about Andrade signing up with PBC and having a unification fight with Jermall Charlo ?

Yeah it'd be a statement that he is truly chasing a fight with Charlo or Benavidez.

But I doubt it 'd happen. Andra is just hoping that at some point Canelo would just pick him, BJS style.

WBO have ordered this

The two sides were given 30-days to reach an agreement.

If no agreement is reached, then a purse bid will be called with a $200,000 minimum bid.

Mall Charlo is only interested in Canelo next. If he thought he could beat Andrade he wouldn't have turned down recent chances. Nicest way I could put it.

I just can't see Demetrius Andrade agreeing to engage in a high-risk bout against Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.

The American has ducked the Kazakh once prior, even his own team admitted this, so I expect history to repeat itself once again.

That said, I am desperately hoping to be proven wrong, because I genuinely believe that Alimkhanuly beats Andrade.

And I really do want to see that fight!

This is so stupid. It was ordered before, and already turned down. Andrade fights at 168. Maybe Mall Charlo will fight the boogyman instead of the chumps he's been fighting lately? Or, perhaps he will see it as a low reward fight too?

yeah ok but my post was 6 weeks ago when Andrade was looking for a fight, now that he’s been called to fight the terrain is clearly different

He knows it's a tough fight. No money in it. Quite unlike Andrade vs Mall Charlo with belts on the line plus a PPV event. But you knew that, didn't you ya fornicating dipshit troll.
