Either would be an interesting matchup, and Bakole would make for a more entertaining fight. But with their Olympic history, despite his recent loss Yoka would be the more meaningful opponent.
The Yoka fight definitely has an interesting angle to it based on Rio - but the manner of his defeat to Bakole means the latter is the fight they should be trying to make and diminishes Yoka’s credibility as an opponent. He was absolutely dismantled.
Fights lost a bit of spark.
Yoka has already lost his 0 so he probably trying to cash it in now..
Aggressive older version of me in this thread I see.
Joyce doesn't seem to have many options at the moment so, if it ends up being Yoka let it be Yoka.
Still a respectable name and unsettled beef. Yoka might still prove himself useful yet, but ultimately I see him getting stopped here. Joyce isn't going to get a genuine big name in with him anytime soon, so this is fine by me. It's far more interesting than his last fight.
I think it was clear he would struggle with getting a big name to sign. He isn't getting a shot soon. Should have kept the ebu belt and just kept ticking over by smashing up some European heavies and make a bit of till.

but I’m expecting more like a wach and wait…
Nice one!
I'm kinda expecting to be underwhelmed by Joyce now. Both in treading water until a title shot, and the title shot.
The gloss has worn off him for me.
