The Coachella Valley will turn up the heat this summer with another night of boxing when Golden Boy returns to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Thursday, July 28.

The event is headlined by fan-favorite and undefeated fighter, Jousce “Tito” Gonzalez (12-0-1, 11 KOs) of Glendora, CA in a scheduled 8-round lightweight fight against Jose Angulo (14-2, 7 KOs) of Miami, FL. The Coachella Valley’s undefeated rising star, Manuel “Gucci Manny” Flores (12-0, 9 KOs) will be the co-main event of the night in a 8-round bantamweight bout against the experienced Daniel Moncada (15-6-2, 5 KOs) of Mexico City, MX. The rest of the undercard will be announced shortly. The night of boxing will stream live on DAZN and on the Golden Boy Boxing Youtube page hosted by Beto Duran and Boxing Hall of Famer, Bernard Hopkins starting at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET.

Hailing from a proud boxing family, Jousce Gonzalez is an undefeated rising prospect in the lightweight division. A professional since 2016, the fearless Gonzalez has continuously faced tough opposition defeating experienced fighters like Jose Anotnio Martinez, Miguel Angle Mendoza and Gabriel Gutierrez to name a few. The 27-year-old was last seen in the ring on April 21st defeating the tough Jario Lopez via sixth round knock-out.

A native of the Coachella Valley, Manny Flores has only just fought once in his hometown after starting off his career in Mexicali, Mexico. Since then, the 23-year-old has steadily climbed the ranks of the division all while defeating veterans like Jonathan Rodriguez, Daniel Lozano and Leonardo Torres.. Flores was last seen at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on April 21st with a spectacular third round knockout of Victor Ruiz.

DAZN Weigh-In Results

The next edition of Golden Boy Fight Night on DAZN is officially set.

Rising lightweight prospect Jousce Gonzalez steps up in class as he faces Ecuador’s Jose Angulo. The scheduled eight-round lightweight contest headlines Thursday’s show from Fantasy Spring Casino in Indio, California.

Gonzalez (12-0-1, 11KOs) tipped the scales at 136.6 pounds for his first career main event. Angulo (14-2, 7KOs) weighed 136.2 pounds for his third bout outside of his native Ecuador and just second stateside.

The same platform hosted Gonzalez’s most recent win, a sixth-round stoppage of Jairo Lopez on April 21 in this very venue. The 27-year-old from Covina, California has scored knockouts in three of his last four starts.

In the co-feature, locally based bantamweight Manuel Flores (12-0, 9KOs)—who hails from nearby Coachella—meets Mexico City’s Daniel Colula (15-6-2, 5KOs). Both boxers weighed 119.8 pounds for the scheduled eight-round bantamweight contest.

Also on the show, junior bantamweight prospect Gabriel ‘Dulce Veneno’ Fundora (7-0, 4KOs)—the younger sister of interim WBC junior middleweight titlist Sebastian Fundora—fights in her home region for the first time as a pro. The 20-year-old southpaw from Coachella weighed 111.8 pounds for a scheduled eight-round junior bantamweight contest versus Mexico City’s Lucia Hernandez (7-12, 0KOs), Mexico City who weighed 109 pounds.

Gonzalez knocks Angulo out in the 3rd with a sickening left hook to the body, against the run of play slightly I'd say,. Gonzalez looked quite tight and intent on landing that KO punch, Angulo looked a lot more fluid and was probably heading to a 2-1 lead on my card before seconds from the bell ending the 3rd Gonzalez nailed him with a peach of a left to the breadbasket which put him down, spitting out gumshield and no way of beating count
