Helenius is so frustrating. You'd imagine he'd have everything to be an elite fighter, but he loses to such terrible opponents. How do you lose to Washington!?
Dude is huge, hits hard, and is a solid boxer. If it wasn't for his weak constitution, I'd say he should be a favorite. He'd outbox Wilder (who can't honestly), and he can stop anyone in the division.
Still, Wilder is a huge favorite for a reason.
Slow, poor headmovment, very basic footwork, limmited punch selection, medium power.
HE has basicaly nothing of an elite fighter, other than being fornicating big.
Well, his powah is quite big. Also, his main tools, like jab or 1-2, aren't that slow or at least he times those well enough.
Is it? Only really KOs poor opponents.
First kownak stop was impressive but is a bit of an outlier.
His 2nd kow stop kow took a billion clean shots befor it was stopped.
I would say heli is someone who seems powerful but his resume doesn’t actually suggest it. I mean he didn’t even chin Washington….
Losing to Gerald Washington by ko is pretty horrible. Everyone else beats Gerald by ko. Adam Kownacki was an obvious fraud. It could be seen from miles away, maybe Robert really is trash and will drop very gracefully infront of Wilder. If he doesn't then that will put question marks behind the Wilder and Fury greatness myths.
I really hope this happens.
I'm actually quite pumped for it
My sensible side says Wilder won't fight again, unless he runs out of money in his 40's and does some sort of money grab exhibition bout.

I don’t see why he would fight again. He must have earned enough from the Fury trilogy to not be able to burn through it unless he’s an absolute fool. Deep down he must recognise that he won’t get another belt unless the title picture becomes fractured again. That being said, if Fury relinquishes the WBC I bet Sulaiman would line up a soft option for the vacant belt.

Exactly
Although when I sat though those episodes of RHOA and Wilder was making the odd appearance, he was blinged up to the max, fancy cars, designer custom clothes. And now he has 2 exes and 2 lots of child support going out.
So I wouldn't say he is an absolute fool with his money, but he is spending it lavishly and has a stray willie. That's why I suggested he may do some exhibition stuff in his forties when the money runs low in ten years.
They did measurements for his fight with Stiverne. I think his thighs, freaking thighs!, are 15". That's the size of most guy's biceps, ffs. Freakishly thin legs. I guess he dispels the rumors that punching power comes solely from your legs .

Wilder is an absolute Moron, he will end up completely broke.
He won't have much chance of a career after boxing, because he is as thick as shite through a funnel and can barely string a cogent sentence together so nobody will want his services as a pundit.

In all honesty he would fit in perfect with Triller as a pundit.

Is there really a market for people listening to ghetto word-salad?

coulda been hitting the weights for the 2nd and 3rd fury fights, hence losing some muscle during his time away. ironic when most fighters go the other way and chonk up when between fights

It's a good sign I think. Shows the hunger to train at least.
