And why is he a Ring rated middleweight? He's lost four of his last five matches (and almost 25 per cent of his pro career) and I don't find any significant wins on his resume before the downhill.
So what is there left for him? Rematch against Adames?
What's next for Sergiy Derevyanchenko?

He was in the mix with the best, he had a series of tough fights and in the last one he lost to the guy, whom he should have won. Now he'll probably take several bouts against the lesser opposition to regain confidence.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko's defeat to Carlos Adames marked the end of his tenure as a top-ten world-rated middleweight.JackSprocket wrote: ↑15 Jun 2022, 00:51 And why is he a Ring rated middleweight? He'll be 37 years of age the next time he competes and would have only won one fight in the previous 4½ years.
He's now playing the role of a gatekeeper.

i would of like to have seen him fight john ryder at super midd

I absolutely love his style. Loss to Adames was huge disapointment and ticket out of top league. Should fight some B class guy (but not a total trash) and try rematch with Adames IMO. Exposing some fake prospects is also option.
