It's obvious that wasserman don't have enough headliners and in the main they have prospects that should be
tucked away off tv until they're ready like the old days!
Not enough talent to go round so every promoter in the country is struggling and the punters are getting shortchanged..channel 5 must feel they've been proper tucked up !!

People want to watch relatively evenly matched fights with both boxers trying to win - they don't all have to be world beaters

I bet there are hundreds of boxers who would have loved to have boxed on the show

I live 20 minutes drive from that venue, and never saw much in the way of promotion locally

Good win for Harlem Eubank over a tough Mexican. Shame the Mexican got himself disqualified...the referee wasn't assertive enough IMO, but Eubank well on the way to a points win and is developing nicely.

Josh Kelly is undoubtedly skilled, but I don't see a world champion in the waiting whenever I watch him.

The tough Mexican had previously weighed in at no more than 131 pounds whilst Eubank has been up to 150 - that is a big difference

It's why I turned the channel over

The lad gets brought over to get a hiding from someone who was probably at least a stone heavier (big difference for someone who fights at just over 9 stone)

Avd people wonder why boxing is losing popularity

I don't get why CH5 cut the Pat fight to show re-runs off a police show.

Surely the live show should have taken priority.

That’s the problem with boxing - the timings of a show are difficult to manage. They’d have been in trouble if the first fight had gone the distance.

They were given a 2 hour window for the show so must have known it was unlikely to air it if the fights went long. McCormack isn’t promoted by Wasserman so they weren’t going to reduce the promo bits/interviews for their guys over showing the McCormack fight.

Was it Police Interceptors?

Watching Police Interceptors and seeing a drug dealer get chased at speed in a stolen car, eventually crashing and running, before finally getting caught... and being handed a 12 month suspended sentence, a driving ban, and £4.50 in fines
