I must say, as an American, the timing of these PPV events is everything. For every big fight, me and about 15-20 buds along with their wives get together at alternating houses. The nights normally start at around 8pm EST for apps. Then the hosts bring out the heavy artillery around 9 or so. Right about when the card begins with some hopeful star fighting a taxi driver. By the time the main fight starts, we’ve already played several rounds of cards and we are all pretty lit, laughing our asses off. By the main event, we are more than pumped for it and glued to each and every punch.

I encourage people to be well and to strive for moderation in their habits but we don’t have many “must see” fights and when they occur, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve seen every great fight in my era with my best buds, drinking and or smoking, and I wouldn’t change one thing even if I end up in rehabilitation some days. Way too many great memories.

You apparently had a dream that they fought..?

It's Actually not a bad Hypothetical.

At 130, it would've Likely been at least a decently interesting styles based match.

:maybe:

Yes, must have been a dream. A think the fight would have been very similar to the Tapia-Barrera fight

No I need to watch boxing on my own. Mainly because my mates are all causals and spout shit. I like to properly concentrate on the fight.
