Nunn's height and reach would out-box Cerdan on the outside behind his southpaw jabs, left hands and combinations to take a decision or else Cerdan could wear him down with body punches, then knocking Nunn out in the late rounds.

I don't think that Michael Nunn has ever fought someone that gives lots of pressure. Marcel Cerdan's pressure and conditioning would be too much I think for Nunn to handle.

This is an example of a matchup that's difficult to pick because you are taking a fighter from a 15-round era vs a fighter whose prime years were in the 12-round era. We never saw Nunn go more than 12 rounds. At middleweight, Nunn was really dominant until being caught by Toney in a fight he was winning easily. IMO over 12 rounds I'd pick Nunn by UD. Over 15, I dunno
