This would have been a great fight. Have long thought that Saldivar is underrated; I have him as the #4 featherweight of all time. Would pick him to win in a very entertaining fight.

The great Vicente Saldivar is one of my favorite all-time Mexican fighters. I think that The Golden Southpaw (El Zurdo de Oro) should win by Unanimous decision in a war, although I rank the great Azumah Nelson higher in the all-time pound per pound rankings.
