about what i expected, ortiz isnt a bang em out in 1 or 2 type, buts applies methodical beatdowns with those body shots and combos. as usual, got hit a fair bit and marked up too

i think boots is better, but after that and spence and craw (who are several years older), ortiz is the best at welter for me

He is a fun fighter, he needs to be kept away from Boots at least not until they are both champs and can cash it in.

Gotta give mckinson credit for being tough as nails. Sure he was getting beat up a bit, and likely wouldn’t of survived even with a good leg. But he was still there in round 9 which has never happened and it took a leg injury and a towel to get him out of there.

Love to see mckinson vs marku early next year.

mick was beaten down and wilted by body shots, leg injury shmeg injury

but ya, he gave a respectable effort. he defo has some good moves, but lacking in power. i would take him to beat marku, who is about 1000 levels below ortiz, good fight actually.. kongo vs marku would be cool too.

I was waiting for Hooker to go full on Oliver McCall out there. What a peculiar performance. I kinda liked McKinson this time but didn't see him winning a single round. I'm up for feeding him to the king of Albania!

Ortiz isn't ready for Boots imo. Love to see him against Thurman and the other gatekeepers though.

Ortiz stopped Kauvilauskas who gave Crawford his toughest fight since Gamboa. Ortiz already should be fighting an eliminator against other prospects. I'm glad he took an easy fight because of his medical issue. Dude should look better his next outing. I hope it's Ava or even Jamal James.
