Team Chisora: Tyson Fury's Handlers Have Reached Out To Us For Trilogy Fight

258 MGT, the management company behind heavyweight contender Derek Chisora, have confirmed that there have been some initial talks for a trilogy fight with WBC world champion Tyson Fury.

Fury was in action back in April, when he knocked out mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte in six rounds.

Afterwards, Fury vowed to retire from the sport.

However, the unbeaten boxer has yet to vacate his title and he appears to be actively training.

Last month, Chisora won a tough twelve round decision in his rematch with world title challenger Kubrat Pulev.

Chisora suffered his first career defeat to Fury in 2011, with the big man outboxing him over twelve rounds. They had a rematch in 2014, with Fury battering and stopping Chisora in ten rounds.

Over the years, Fury and Chisora became good friends - but recently the two boxers had a bad falling out.

Their animosity stems from Chisora openly backing Whyte to beat Fury in their mandatory fight. Chisora said he was willing to stake his "house" on the outcome.

In a recent interview, Fury detailed their fallout and promised to punch Chisora 'in the face' if they run into each other.

Chisora, in response, said he was very willing to settle their differences in the ring.

If a deal comes together, it will happen before the end of the year, according to Chisora's team.

David Ghansa of 258 MGT told The Independent: "Tyson’s team have indeed reached out to us about a potential fight towards the end of the year.

"And we have held initial discussions with more talks to be scheduled in due course. It would be a massive fight for the UK if we can make it happen, and a fight that we have seen sells very well in the past. I think that fight sells out a stadium in a pre-Christmas cracker.”

Absolutely pointless mismatch. Who needs the 3rd fight after the two one-sided once before? Especially after the loser of those got even worse.

Tyson has always wanted a free money voluntary. He tried to get one in lockdown. It's a terrible fight, though. Really bad.

Didn’t he make voluntary defences of his lineal against Seferi, Pianeta and Schwarz? Pretty sure no one wanted those fights.

This is a really poor fight and I really hope it doesn’t happen. I have loads of respect for Tyson as a fighter but going after Chisora, when he’s supposedly retired, rather than AJ/Usyk is a joke.

Del is his mate. Wants to give him a pay day.

I`d prefer to see him in with Dubois or Wardley

I guess he did if, thankfully, everyone is recognising the lineal.

I'd really come round to Fury. If this happens then I guess it's back to thinking he's a twat again.

Absolutely dreadful fight. A stadium? You've got to be kidding me. There will be lots of empty seats.

This is a brand killer. Worse than Haye-Harrison. And that's saying something.

Surely it won't happen?

Troll :box:

Tbh casuals lap this up not knowing they’ve fought twice before!

Hurts Tyson’s legacy if he finds himself a 12 time defeated man who is 75 years and not a fresh 3 belt holding Ukrainian.

Would deffo start watching Loose Women over boxing if this is the case.

Not only would I not watch it, but alongside the sport being taken over by Youtubers and 'exhibitions', this might be one of the nails in the coffin to get me to stop watching boxing entirely.

I want to watch actual competition.

Unless it has the undercard of the 21st century, but there won't be any cash in the kitty for that.
