On a side issue - I never saw Chisora vs Pulev 2 due to not subscribing to Dazn - those that saw it, was the fight result fair. The highlights I've seen since it looks like Pulev was well on top.

I do feel a tad for Chisora as over the years he has probably deserved a second shot at the big belt, but giving him one now does feel a bit like when Terry Venabbles offered Steve Bruce an England call up in 1995 when he was clearly past his prime. Chisora looked like he slowed up alot in the Parker rematch.

Yeah, pretty cynical stuff, I'll fight someone I beat easily last time.

His record of defences as champ is pretty terrible.

Just like many of his fights. It could have gone either way.

It was his turn to get the close decision this time.

I didn’t have him winning myself, but plenty did.

With Usyk Vs Joshua so close this is surely a joke.
Fury can only really fight the winner, IMO... Its the legacy fight & Saudi sportswashing removes any money problems.

After that Fury V Chisora 3 at a UK stadium makes sense as a farwell fight for both i reckon.

If one remembers before the third Wilder fight ever even happened Fury talked about facing Chisora for a third time, saying that because they were friends he would give him a shot at the title.

Personally I think since all of this is coming out of Chisora's team, allegedly, that it's nothing more than a poke or a prod at Tyson saying that he owes him the title shot.

From my perspective this is the kind of match that should be made for exhibitions or non title matches, since there is virtually nobody who believes that Chisora could remotely win.

Can we add ‘Don’t Care’ as an option to the poll?

Yeh he said that. Apparently, the reason now is because Chisora said he'd bet his house on Whyte beating Fury.

Come on guys, give Tyson a break - he wants to fight Joshua for free as long as we can all watch it on free terrestrial TV, looking after the fans is Tyson

It must be true, he said so .......

I still can't believe no-one has pulled him up about his promised charity donations

I get the impression, that despite all his protestations, Fury is very much driven by money.

He talks a right load of old bollix - all this stuff about being the greatest ever - but he clearly has zero intention of doing anything to try and make a case for being an ATG.

His best win is still over Wlad - who was however you look at it - not at his peak, and he didn't even manage to stay fit enough for a rematch.

I think he is working on the theory that if he constantly tells people how great he is then after a while some are going to believe him.

People have called him out on it. He just says what he does with his money is his business and no one else’s. The interviewers tend to go quiet after that. 😂

He legit talks more crap than any other fighter in the world. The difference between him and someone like Wilder is that people actually take what Tyson says seriously. A friend asked me a few weeks back whether Fury/AJ would be on BBC or ITV. 😂

He’s a brilliant boxer and I think he’s a good man too but it’s tough to overlook the rubbish sometimes.

IIRC They are mates and there was something about Chisora getting sick/injured/shit camp or whatever with the second fight and thats why Fury owes a third.

Like i said earlier i think both will do it as a retirment fight. Probs a jokey exhibition atmosphere, lots of BT buildup with stories about their careers. It would sell well.
Just not when the undesputed fight is so close.

Yeah, it's not much of a legacy is it?

Wilder is probably the least skilfull heavyweight champion of all time, and Whyte is really no more than European level, he's just a big lump.

His best wins, away from home, are top quality. I'm sure the usual suspects will pull them to bits but, hey ho!

His best win by far is Wlad - but come on, you have to factor in Wlad's age in that, he was at the tail end of a very long career.

Fury can fight, he's an excellent fighter on his best night, but you can't say his legacy as champ will be impressive without some other substantial wins.

It's a shame the Joshua fight didn't happen earlier, because Joshua is likely to be a busted flush soon.

If he beats Usyk, then that will definitely help, as Usyk is a top drawer quality fighter.

Beating an undefeated long time heavyweight knockout artist world champion in America, stopping him twice is impressive.
Everyone had him down as a non puncher, glass jaw, fat waste of space.... I wish he'd have got AJ. I would have made a fortune. Such an easy fight for him. People actually thought AJ could beat him!

Yeah the Fury v AJ fight if it had happened when it should’ve happened would’ve been a truly enormous occasion, the biggest fight of this century, probably the biggest fight since Tyson Holyfield or maybe even Hagler Leonard and for UK fans would’ve been right up there with the biggest sporting event since the 1966 World Cup Final.

So sad how boxing continually shoots itself in the foot
