Whilst no world beater, he beat Rogan twice I think and gave Chisora a couple of tough fights....I would say Holden was worst than him and he would be on a similar line to Scott Welch

the chisora rematch was a one sided beatdown, he did give him a really good first fight though. won prizefighter too. on the weaker side for a british champ but not the worst

He can't have beaten Rhodes.
Perhaps he was is the quickest with the rules of three defences and ones a mandatory
I think quickest in this sense refers to fewest number of rounds.

This is just a horrible thread.

It could be renamed as "Who was the worst boxer to achieve significantly more than 99.9% of people that offer opinions on fighters. "

The worst British title holder of all time (whom ever he is) wore the Lonsdale Belt. That's an amazing achievement.

Kinda funny coming from a guy who said Francisco Damiani couldnt fight as a pro, that Tommy Morrison and Charles Martin were dreadful, and that some of the early WBO champs were turkeys. You don't think those guys could still whoop 99.9 percent of the posters that offer opinions on them? And I don't think people having been calling the champs in this thread dreadful or turkeys!

Of course any british champ is very very handy compared to the average person or even the average boxer. it's a great achievement. but when you take a group of boxers, even good ones, you can still rank them relative to one another, and that's what this thread is about
