Who is Kompayak Sakpanya?

Post by sandis »

I want to find out who was the boxer who fought 10 june 2006 in Moscow against Jahongir Abdullaev.
First i gave his name as Rueangdet Simsiriwat with record 0-0-0 but it turned out to be a mistake.
Rueangdet Simsiriwat is his birthname but he boxes under name Kompayak Sakpanya. I failed to find this boxer on boxrec, but i found him rated #8 in PABA super featherweight rating.
Can you help me to find out the true and improve a little bit Abdullaev's boxrec rating.

Numerous names in PABA ratings are wrong. It could be Kompayak Sithdanchai. He is around that weight.
Trying to keep track of Thais is absolute murder.

It could also be Kompayak Chor Chareon, who fought Nick Tetoros as Kompayak Twins Special in Melbourne, Australia on Oct 4 2002

Maybe Chor Chareon & Sithdanchai is the same boxer?

New Thai editor Scott might be able to help.

I will do what I can to find out....I need a little time though. Tomorrow I'm going three hours outside of Bangkok to watch a show. There's an unknown fighter on the card also, Little Roman. I'm leaving early to photograph Pone Kingpetch's statue so I'll be running around from 5 AM - midnight and it's 1:35 AM now and I haven't slept yet. Here in Thailand and in Asia it went from a very few fights to a fight every two or three days. Interviews, meetings, writing, handling the photos - I'm swamped right now. So if no one else finds out who it is I will find out but I may need some time.

By all means. Keep tabs on current stuff & when you got time check the past. That's what I do with Fiji. :D

Which is a challenge, because KO round 1 doesn’t necessarily mean that. It could be the opponent didn’t show & the winner was declared as such by default.
Quite a few, over the years, have won Fiji titles in this manner.

Now you know why Fijian champs get KO'd in the 1st round when they travel to Japan.....Never thought there were sucker promoters in Japan.

In the recent bouts in Singapore the promoter wanted to declare a victory for one fighter by "walkover." When I informed him that a walkover was only in the amateurs he didn't know this. In fact, he told me that someone of the sanctioning bodies in charge of the bout had told him that it was indeed considered a win. I then told him that unfortunately in the professionals you must FIGHT! He didn't have a clue, unbelievable.

Scott, Could it have been Kompayak Sithdanchai as Anton said? Please express your opinion in this point.

All i found out that this unknown boxer presented a document Rueangdet Simsiriwat (my source didnt tell me in details if it was Thai passport or no) and said that he fights under name Kompayak Sakpanya.

i found out that Kompayak Sakpanya was rated #15 in super featherweight by PABA in july 2006.
Problem is that Kompayak Pramuk is also rated by the same rating #5 in light flyweight

Possibly Kompayak SorThong, SorSandal or SorBarefoot.
Whichever, he’s bound to have a 11-2-0 record going into a fight in Australia or Japan compliments of Thai Boxing Commission

Kompayak Porpramook is fighting today but he's a light flyweight. So far no one has been able to give me an answer that makes any sense. Each name has been different so I don't know what's up. If I get a sitting with the governor of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport this is one issue I will address - the names.
