We don't know what it's like to be him but we can compare his behaviour to hundreds of heavyweights on film who lost title fights and no one ever responded like Anthony Joshua did last night.

AJ did himself no favours whatsoever. He was completely all over the place emotionally and the true AJ came out. He showed more than a little amount of arrogance and ignorance... And I would make 5 quick points on it:

1. Becoming aggressive and wanting to confront Usyk before Chisora and others held him back, to which he left the ring. Just shows poor sportmanship and a bad attitude.

2. Throwiing The Ring and the WBA Championship out of the ring and saying "f@ck them" - he likes the belts when he is winning them, apparently they are now worthless now that he has lost another fight and the opportunity of holding them again... I hope that he gets fined for that... The world is watching and boxing has been VERY good to him, it sets off all the wrong signals...

3. Telling Usyk that he has skills and that Usyk is not stronger than him, then questioning the man's victory, then walking away and not giving the man a chance to speak to him and reason with him.

4. Complaining about his own problems when he went to jail something like 12 years ago - when Usyk is literally standing a few feet away, looking at him while his country is torn apart by war and his countrymen are dying... The irony is unbelievable...

5. Then the history lesson about Ukraine, when he literally knows f@ckall about the country. Why didn't he leave that to Usyk to talk about his home country rather then rambling on in a glib way...

Agreed, none of us will ever know what it's like to be in that situation. BUT - I'm pretty sure that most of us would be happy enough to fight Usyk for 10 million...
This is what annoys me about professional sportsman, they are paid very lucratively - they keep the spoils... So the other side of the coin is the toil. No point in complaining about the toil, when you are greedily taking the spoils... Behaving that way is very dishonest...

Yes of course but everyone is different. Some fighters have no passion and maybe don't care and just fought for the money, some might go home and do drugs or eat pizza until it comes out their ears. How many times have we heard fighters who have lost blame injuries, blame the ref, the judges or whatever, it all boils down to bad sportsmanship just in a different way.

What was said to him for him to react like that? It happened in the ring and backstage.

It really isn't the same mate. Fighters have excuses sure, but no one has responded to losing by throwing belts out of the ring, screaming at the crowd and going on a bizarre rant on the mike. Go watch his unhinged cackling backstage, followed by him suddenly turning on a well wisher and saying WHO THE F*** ARE YOU TALKING TO? Something's not right with this guy.

I'm not saying what he done was right, I'm just saying in a highly emotional state and after being punched in the head for 12 rounds his behaviour might be easier to understand. I'm sure on a much smaller scale we have all reacted emotionally to things that maybe in hindsight we wished we handled differently. It was a really bizarre spectacle and something he hasn't done before and I'm sure he will apologise.

Regarding 3, I thought that was odd and having heard it a few times I think we missed Usyk off camera saying that AJ is a strong fighter and AJ was complaining that he doesn't want to be strong, he wants to be skilled because Usyk isn't strong but he won because he is skilled. It just makes more sense to me in that way.

I was impressed with Joshua's performance and plan to target the body which seemed to be effective. Unfortunately for Joshua, this just seemed to make Usyk step up a gear, and to be fair Usyk is a different level when he pressed the button. It was an interesting fight and I'm glad that Usyk got the well deserved decision, a really likeable guy in my opinion and an excellent fighter.

With regards to Joshua, he's let his facade slip again, I've thought he was a complete tool for a long time and I'm quite chuft that he's embarrassed himself in front of the world, just a shame he's stolen Usyk's moment.

If Joshua is actually a bell end. The best thing he can do is just be the Bell end he is and get some good scraps in with the other heavyweights. Won some , lose some and have some exciting nights.

McCracken wouldn't have let him act like that, AJ has mentally cut himself adrift from the values that played a big part in his rise.

The most draining thing a boxer can do is throw punches at thin air and that was and always will be the problem when fighting somebody as elusive as Usyk.

Joshua's text book long right hand was easy to avoid. Usyk knew it was coming and simply got out of the way.
Your dead right , its really is draining to throw and miss it takes it out of you ,, but you won't be missing if your not head hunting , try getting hit on the biceps by a big hitter constantly , even then though Usyk could use his fast feet and move away , but what happens if he's moving and /or off balance , your not getting hit has much either , like i said the 9th he threw punches he unsettled Usyk , knocked him off his game and unbalanced him ,,, the big problem is his stamina , and that should of been worked on by his trainers years ago

Well, if you've got someone the same height and weight as AJ why don't you continue to work with him until he can fight at pace for 12 rounds and then get him to beat Usyk.

Totally agree. AJ was scared to let the counters go because he knew Usyk would punish him. Sometimes you just need to try and have a fight, then try and break your opponent's will. Easier said than done I know but felt that's was the way to beat an exceptional boxer like Usyk

Well, if you've got someone the same height and weight as AJ why don't you continue to work with him until he can fight at pace for 12 rounds and then get him to beat Usyk.
Answer to your first question .... NO he's not and has'nt been for years , too many weights bro

2nd quesstion , don't be a smart ass it does'nt become you your not clever enough , Guy i' was doing work with could'nt box to save his life , same height and weight has AJ BUT big and fat , walking in the gym to lose weight at first struggled to to even skip for a full minuite after approx 12 months , could do a hard fast 3-4 rnds on pads , and this was a guy in his early forties who had never had a fight in or out the ring in his life ,, AJ is SUPPOSED to be a top PROFESIONAL athlete and he gases if he works hard for a couple of rnds .

Look at the 9th rnd mastermind ,, when he put it on Usyk he turned the fight , got Usyk covering moving away and at times of balance trying to avoid what was coming ,, If AJ could of done that for 6 rnds he would of won , its the ONLY WAY he would beat a far superior and faster boxer ,, trying to box him was never ever gonna work ,, facts are though besides the lack of proper fight fitness , AJ is punch shy thats why he would'nt commit when the openings were there.. Aj has come through boxing with a big hit and done really really well , but he's spent years negleting his stamina training ready for when he needs it , and now he needs it , but its too late , , he was determined i give him that he tried hard you got to give him that , but he just could'nt do what he needed to do for a long enough period , he never has , its always been there its always been an issue , and they have never adressed it . the talent was there , but the correct training has never been there ,, John Fury got that one right .

He's finished really he struck me has being gun shy , when there were openings he did'nt take them he chose to defend , allowed Usyk to counter when Usyk should of been defending , If the openings there if the spots open to land and you are to gun shy and worried to throw , its time to take your millions and go drink pina coladas on a beach surrounded by dolly birds
Totally agree. AJ was scared to let the counters go because he knew Usyk would punish him. Sometimes you just need to try and have a fight, then try and break your opponent's will. Easier said than done I know but felt that's was the way to beat an exceptional boxer like Usyk
Dead right , and like you said easier said than done , chances are Usyk would still beat him but it would be closer if Usyk spent half of each rnd trying to avoid whats coming has opposed to using AJ has a moving punch bag , while he's defending or being pushed of balance he's not being smooth and clever

Watching it back again, it’s hilarious how Usyk starts clapping halfway through the hip hip hoorays. Clearly doesn’t know what’s going on but hears people cheering so thinks he should join in too

Joshua could fight Usyk 100 times and would never beat him.

He just doesn't have the skills and stamina to be able to put him under enough sustained pressure to get him out of there.

At that point someone really should've started playing the Oscars theme tune over the speakers.
