Normally when folk are emotional and upset the last thing they would want to do is walk back to a ring and speak uninvited in front of thousands of people.
Bad loser, that's my opinion. You have to admit you were beaten by the better man. Most boxers who lose a fight are disappointed but you just have to live with it, not show yourself up like AJ did.

Yeah but AJ is Fast Cars product and cash cow.
Now AJ is earning big and they will get him the right fights but he is a product.
He will easily sell out the O2 v AN Other and the show will be back on the road.
Yes of course but everyone is different. Some fighters have no passion and maybe don't care and just fought for the money, some might go home and do drugs or eat pizza until it comes out their ears. How many times have we heard fighters who have lost blame injuries, blame the ref, the judges or whatever, it all boils down to bad sportsmanship just in a different way.
It really isn't the same mate. Fighters have excuses sure, but no one has responded to losing by throwing belts out of the ring, screaming at the crowd and going on a bizarre rant on the mike. Go watch his unhinged cackling backstage, followed by him suddenly turning on a well wisher and saying WHO THE F*** ARE YOU TALKING TO? Something's not right with this guy.
I'm not saying what he done was right, I'm just saying in a highly emotional state and after being punched in the head for 12 rounds his behaviour might be easier to understand. I'm sure on a much smaller scale we have all reacted emotionally to things that maybe in hindsight we wished we handled differently. It was a really bizarre spectacle and something he hasn't done before and I'm sure he will apologise.

I'm not going to lay into Joshua. He's only a human and you have to feel bad for somebody who probably feels like he's lost so much: his own self respect, his own self image as an immortal warrior God, his public front as the same: a giant indomitable adonis... A lot of us have been there. For AJ it wasn't gak and booze, but concussion and adrenalin.
Regardless, the humiliation is real. And it's not just amongst friends. It's the whole world laughing at you.
Let's just look at our four kings at Heavyweight: Joshua, Usyk, Fury and Wilder, and consider that only one of them isn't a bizarre deluded contradictory grandiose weirdo. Usyk is the only one defensively sound enough to not ship the punishment the other three have. We all enjoy ourselves on these boards having a pop at these blokes and the bollocks they come out with, but maybe there's a discussion to be had about a generation of gigantic heavyweights brain damaging each other for our entertainment and maybe reserving the ridicule a little, no matter how tempting it may be?

Joshua's boxing last night was the best I've ever seen from him. F*cking brilliant. Usyk is a generational talent. AJ held his own against him and didn't get stopped, and had his moments. That's some achievement.
I felt sorry/embarrassed for Usyk when AJ was ranting, he'd just retained his title in really difficult personal circumstances and great style and he couldn't have his moment, he just looked like he'd rather be somewhere else.
Bad behavior but he was emotional. I'm really interested in what Eddie does with him now (sure he signed a 5 fight dazn deal just after the rematch was made). Will Eddie do a rebuild fight. Wilder would be good. I'd expect del boy to get wheeled as a sacrificial lamb.

Well that's where we really get into AJ is a c*nt territory, where he just took a flag and a mic off a bloke who's just been pulled off the front line fighting for his family, friends and freedom, to ramble about how tough he is for avoiding a minimal custodial for a 9 bar and subsequently got gifted an olympic gold he only won because it was in his home city.
