Yesterday, a saudi woman who returned home on holiday was condemned to 34 years in jail for posting about women's rights on Twitter.

I think it's them trying to justify their broken morals to themselves rather than anyone else. Everyone has a price and the Saudi's are finding those prices. I think the Saudi's found that most governments and businessmen were probably cheaper per $1 of profit than these athletes though.
