How many rounds did you give him?
2 at the absolute tops.
He was out boxed and looked like he couldn't or dare not pull the trigger, either way he was very soundly beaten

Maybe the score cards were damage limitation for fastcar and DAZN because that's the only way I can see it even being close to a SD

Usyk was fantastic last night and even in the 9th round the shots from AJ wasn't landing .
In the tenth usyk came out and made AJ his bottom boy, it was beautiful to watch as a boxing fan .

I had it 8-4 to Usyk. Looks like a lot of you had it wider.
Maybe I was swayed by the pub atmosphere, but it seemed right at the time.
AJ had much more success in that fight, some nice body work. Was outboxed and outlasted, though.
Looks like he tried to do exactly what he did last time, but better. I suppose he succeeded in that, but it wasn't a winning formula.
Tough now for AJ on where to go next.

Scores were gawdawful. Extremely bad. It was a repetition of the first fight. The robotic Joshua can't box against the true specialists.

He won one round that was clear.

Out of 24 across both fights.

The others he was given were pretty close and could have went either way.

Supporters, corner men and commentators oohing and aahing when he hits the odd punch off Usyk's gloves just skews things and makes him believe he's doing better than he really is, leading to him not being able to accept defeat like last night.

He was better in his early days when they just let him use his physical strengths to intimidate and bulldoze people. Now he spends too much time trying to remember tactics that he doesn't really have the muscle memory to pull off naturally.

This desire to become a boxer is admirable but ultimately futile. He's better sticking to the basics.

Rewatched the fight. About 117-110 for me. How one judge could have given the 12th to Joshua I do not know.

And that’s what won it on his card for AJ.

Pretty amazing that it would've been scored a draw if Steve Gray didn't give the last round to Usyk

I don't see how it could have been scored a draw or a majority decision. That was clearly a unanimous decision win for Usyk. That fight was only close on paper courtesy of Eddie Hearn. Usyk knew he had to be on the ball and throwing at least five punches to Joshua's one otherwise he would have been robbed of the title.

I thought AJ did quite well last night, nowhere near well enough to win, but he was competitive throughout.

But Usyk was always a few steps ahead and made a point of responding every time AJ had any real success.

The 116-112 card seems about right to me.
I didn't mind the 115-113 card to Usyk too much as some of the rounds were pretty tight, but the 115-113 AJ card was a disgrace.

The corruption in boxing only puts me off watching.

Why bother when the profitable fighters going into a fight three or four rounds up. How anyone could give Joshua more than three rounds is beyond me. The judges were absolutely desperate to give AJ the win here.

Glen Feldman who scored it for Joshua was confronted backstage. But he let his ‘supervisor’ take the wrap. I mean how do you let your supervisor explain how you scored the fight

that supervisor's answer is the ultimate generic stock reply to defend a sh!tty score

fight scored round by round, not as a whole

close rounds

we all see things differently

scored it as he saw it

If the Ukrainian judge had also had the 12th for Joshua and one other round, he would also have had a draw Sherlock...🤣🤣🤣

"boxing is scored round by round, not by the fight as a whole"

That arguement makes more sense if you are trying to justify a 120-108 score in a competitive fight.

I watched it with a couple casual mates and they were saying it was close, but I pointed out to them that although it may feel close as a fan watching it. Usyk was (or at least should have been) building a heavy lead on the cards, purely due to the fact that boxing is scored round by round.

I can't see any case for Joshua winning any of the last 3 rounds.

Although he didn't win any on the cards apart from the 12th, courtesy of Feldman.

Hearn said he had Usyk 1 or 2 up after the 9, but Usyk winning the last 3 for him got him the win..

TBH, after 7 rounds, I had it maybe 6-1 or 5-2 up for Usyk.

At no point on my card was Joshua ever up.
