Early betting odds already place Fury as high as a -310 favorite to prevail, according to FanDuel Sportsbook

Fury wants $500 million. In other words, he's all talk.

One thing about this fight, if it happens: Fury's trash talk will fall flat like never before. It was fun to hear him talk circles around a clueless doofus like Deontay Wilder, but there's really nothing to dislike about Usyk. He's as charismatic as Fury, maybe moreso. It'd be fun if the two of them just went big with over-the-top like Batman suits or whatever, I guess. But just hearing him start off with "the Ukranian dosser" really just felt pretty weak because Usyk's so obviously a class, respectable guy.

Batman v the Joker, and Usyk gets the last laugh.

If Fury has any sense he’d flip his recent script and try a pure charm offensive, for exactly the reasons you give.

I suspect he is too far ‘into’ the role of trash talker, or thinks it’s the only way to maximise his £££££

No chance it happens this year.

Fury will spend 12 months talking shite before it happens, if indeed it ever does.

I think it will happen in December only because Tyson Fury ever since facing Whyte has been going to the gym and working out and doing road work on a regular basis. He's never stopped trying to maintain a level of fitness. 4 months is plenty of time to get in shape for a fight with Usyk.

'The Ukrainian middleweight' is more likely.
