I don’t know mate, there’s been a hell of a lot more ‘Deontay Wilder, coo what a loony eh?’ threads than similar of AJ, I’m sure. Every time the mad kvnt posts a tweet we’re all like fck me he’s off again.handsofstone wrote: ↑24 Aug 2022, 13:47 Joshua got accused of not caring after getting battered by Ruiz, now he's a bad loser, granted he probably has to show some middle ground, take his lumps, sit in the background and give his opponent their dues instead of taking the mike and waffling
People obsess about Joshua's mental state all the time even before Ruiz, Fury made millions of mental health and Wilder clearly has lost his marbles after some of the excuses he continues to make after Fury knocked him out
but nobody in boxings mental well being is more documented than AJ's

Re: Joshua on the mic
Maybe mate it just seems clearer Wilder has a screw loose, tampered gloves, spiked drinks, Breland being a stooge, suit too heavy, whatever else, just madness especially after the dust settled to still throw those accusations around, Joshua acted a bit of a ponce after both his losses but owned it in the aftermath, AJ far from perfect, made some mistakes but deep down I think he's probably a decent enough guy, Wilder repeatedly wanting bodies on his record and Fury the nandrelone talking mental health spoofer, don't care for them outside the ring at allCounter-puncher wrote: ↑24 Aug 2022, 14:46I don’t know mate, there’s been a hell of a lot more ‘Deontay Wilder, coo what a loony eh?’ threads than similar of AJ, I’m sure. Oh he’s got more of a screw loose or more obviously so hell yeah, mind, who knows what AJ would be putting out on twitter if he was allowed to like Wilder.
Re: Joshua on the mic
Everything seems to be pathologised these days. Everyone acts like a prat sometimes, some more so than others. If I had a massive spotlight on myself when I have acted the plonker in the past it would have been mortifying. Of course these days, we are all encouraged to spew our thoughts out to everyone on social media. Turning all mine off a while back was a great decision for me.
Re: Joshua on the mic
I feel that if Joshua had lost the Ruiz rematch on points, we would have seen the same unsportsman like childish hissy fit.
Re: Joshua on the mic
Lightie only does that to prove his own points, not yours Oogs
I think we all knew he was 'media trained' because there were too many catchphrases and so much humble.

Re: Joshua on the mic
Yeh well people think a concussed Joshua was bad , because he was disapointed threw some belts on the floor , then told the world the how good the guy who beat him was , AFTER he took 100 or so punches to the head off a 6'3" profesional fighter
Well then get your pens and typing fingers ready , because if Fury gets a ref , who stops him leaning on Usyk and then Usyk proves to quick and mobile , and who knows even gets to drop the big fella , THEN we will see a melt down and Fury already has the excuse , he's got mental issues , we know cos he's told us often enough ,, then we'll have his dads breakdown , on top , and after last weeks performance Usyk will probably be surrounded by Ukranian hard men hanging out to put the English in there place
Can't wait already got the beers and popcorn lined up

Re: Joshua on the mic
I think the thing with the current reaction is that it’s so different to the first loss (to Ruiz).
I mean you can compare them but they are different scenarios. The Ruiz loss he was probably still processing and knew he had a rematch clause.
This one he’s already Thinking:
I lost again
My career is probably over
I can’t beat a little guy
I knew exactly what to expect and still can’t win
I think I won
Why is this little twat filming me from 1m away
I’ve no rematch clause left

I just watched the meltdown again and I don't know, it wasn't that bad. Actually it was pretty good. I never cared for Joshua before but now I'm a fan! Funny where life takes you.

Re: Joshua on the mic
I'm hoping that Joshua stays 'concussed', opens up a bit and ditches the contrived answers. Hopefully, next time he's on Graham Norton, he tells Graham he's going to punch Fury so hard, he's going to stick his fist down his throat, tear his balls off and make a necklace from then for Graham. It's time for AJ to become the bad guy and loosen up completely.

Fury managed the aftermath of the first Wilder fight when he got robbed blind and knocked down heavily, pretty perfectlyconeye wrote: ↑25 Aug 2022, 00:50 Yeh well people think a concussed Joshua was bad , because he was disapointed threw some belts on the floor , then told the world the how good the guy who beat him was , AFTER he took 100 or so punches to the head off a 6'3" profesional fighter

I simply do not understand why so many people giving AJ excuses.
As someone said the mask slipped and we saw AJs glaring flaws.

Every time I see the words 'Joshua on the Mic' I keep imagining him MC'ing at a Garage rave.
I don't know why, but I do, literally - every time.
God that would be shite.
