KSI, Proper Loud and Wasserman Boxing team up to launch new promotional company "to stage the world's biggest and best celebrity and crossover boxing events"

KSI and Austin McBroom have agreed to fight in YouTuber boxing's next big moment but it has drawn ridicule from Jake Paul.

Jake Paul, who began his boxing career against fellow online influencers but has now won three professional fights, has a longstanding rivalry with KSI.

But McBroom, who recently prevailed in a boxing event pitting YouTuber content creators against their rivals from Tik-Tok, could earn a fight with KSI first.

"I would beat every single person on that card," KSI said in his YouTube upload. "Including Austin, Gib."

McBroom then challenged KSI: "I'm ready whenever you are."

But Jake Paul then interjected: "[Laugh out loud]. KSI immediately jumping at the opportunity to fight Austin.

"I guess 'music tours' and 'Covid' were only in the way of him fighting me."

Jake Paul defeated KSI's brother Deji in a white-collar bout. KSI then twice beat Logan Paul, Jake's brother.

After knocking out YouTuber AnEsonGib in his first professional fight, Jake Paul and KSI clashed inside the ring.

He said at the time: "KSI is next. Did you see your best friend get planted?"

KSI replied: "You are worse than your bro."

Jake Paul: "Let's make it happen."

Logan Paul has since gone eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout.

Jake Paul has won all three of his fights by stoppage and will next box Tyron Woodley, a former UFC champion, on August 28.

KSI hasn't been back in the ring since beating Logan Paul in YouTuber boxing's biggest fight.
Has McBroom just shat his pants on that pic?

https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/ksi-b ... e-20220701

This new series will be dubbed the ‘MF & DAZN: X Series’ and will show figures from the world of sports and entertainment facing off in high level boxing events.

The first of these is set to be headlined by KSI vs Alex Wassabi in August at the O2 Arena, with Deji vs Fousey to also be accompanied by Faze Temper vs Blueface on the undercard.

KSI has made it abundantly clear that his long-term goal is to fight and beat Jake Paul. However, the Wassabi fight may serve as a warm-up to this aspiration.

Jake Paul was not seen as a threat when the Brit fought his older brother Logan back in 2019, but much has changed since then. Since then, Jake has beaten Deji, whilst also winning five professional fights, moving him to 5-0 (4 KOs).

His target is now KSI.

Where to get KSI vs Swarmz tickets and pay-per-view cost confirmed

KSI is now set to face Swarmz in the boxing ring later this month after the withdrawal of Alex Wassabi due to an injury. The pair were due to meet on August 27, but it has been revealed that the withdrawal was due to an injury suffered in training.

KSI and Swarmz have previously released a music track together, but will now step in the ring to face one another. It'll be the first time KSI has stepped in the ring in three years, since he last defeated Logan Paul in his first ever professional bout.

He also has two amateur fights to his name, starting with a 2018 win against Joe Weller before he drew with Paul in their first meeting later that same year.

Ticket information

The tickets for the event are already on sale and can be purchased by clicking on the link here. The ticket prices range from £33 to £1,323.

Many have already been sold with those who purchased tickets for KSI vs Wassabi keeping their seats.

How can I watch KSI vs Swarmz?

The fight will be broadcast around the world on DAZN and will be a pay-per-view event. You can purchase the event for £11.99 here.

These guys can't box for toffee they're basically low level amateurs at best.

BUT there is something to be learnt from them in terms of promoting and engaging the younger generation.

KSI last fight did 2 Million PPV buys right?

Is this on Dazn PPV in the UK? Not that I am going to buy it - just keeping tabs on the number of lies Eddie makes about Dazn boxing.

This is all down to DAZN not Hearn.. He is their mouthpiece. I believe it's only £12 or so..

Although Hearn isn't innocent.. we've got PPV in Sept and Oct.

Hearn specifically said though that there would be no PPVs on Dazn and then said there it would only be for mega fights. Now though - its 1) A fight in taking place in America - something he said would never happen unless it was AJ or Fury, 2) A non world title domestic fight - something he said would never happen and 3)This joke.

When Dazn PPV launched in the UK - I was expecting it for AJ fights and possibly to entice great fighters to come to the UK. E.g. Canelo vs Eubank Jnr in the UK to be Dazn PPV, in the US to would be on "normal" Dazn.

But no - Eubank Jnr vs Benn, GGG vs Canelo and now this joke - it is not on.

This show is an embarrassment.

You can admire the engagement levels they reach, the number of followers they have and their ability to seemingly print money……

But it isn’t competitive, even low level professional boxing. Anyone who says otherwise is either just after money or plain daft.

His first fight is against a DJ. Both are over 3 rounds.

It’s no different to Prizefighter mate, just against lower level opposition.
