Despite the competition being largely below his skillset, I really enjoyed watching Johnson operate! Good looking young fighter.

No reason to let the fighter continue to take punishment like that AND it was getting worse.

Yeah I agree.

I don't mind a crap stoppage - especially at this level.
That MMA guy was probably a tough enough spoiler to run away, hold and take a beating for another 4mins, but WTF for ?
He was taking clean head shots and doesn't need to be hurt.

Great walkout from The REAL Big Baby ! :salut:

Best US HW yet ? or is that still Wilder/some other ? I like his size and spite.
Has a look for a round then booms him over when he wants KO2 imo...

big baby is a stud, but with the total lack of being in anything remotely close to a competitive fight and barely having gone rounds im not so sure id trust him to beat the much more experienced usa guys like wilder and ruiz. his potential is excellent however and already he's probably good enough for the top 20ish range

Oh yeah he looked raw there for sure and needs a few more at low level, but he IS a stud and he'll surely be Top 20 and making a run next year...

Although TopRank saying he's 22 and they're going slowly - more like 2024.

Fair enough - time for Usyk, Fury and the current top 6 (ish) to retire/grow old.

when a guy is absolutely plowing through this level of opposition, there's no need to keep him crushing the same guys over and over just because he's young. no one is saying he needs to fight total beasts, but clearly he can be stepped up to a higher level now

it's just a waste of 2 years to keep him at this level till he's 24

That Torrez KO was brutal. Worst I’ve seen in quite some time. Every one of those fights was a bad mismatch, and honestly shouldn’t have happened.
