Azim comes across really well to me , confident but not brash or arrogant .

Good addition to the card .

Lad he’s fighting is 5-4…. Being an unknown I expect KO1 despite him previously never being stopped.
Would’ve rather seen him fight Cheema; no point bigging that fight up for the future as it’ll end KO1.

Also just confirmed 5 days out so who knows whether he’s been in training or not, how the jet lag sets in etc. They’ll push the never been stopped narrative and it’ll be another early finish.

Seen a few rumours on twitter yesterday that Mwakinyo is out but I'd imagine that would've been confirmed by now

They've been concentrating on the Natasha Jonas fight on Sky Sports news, so the rumours may have something to them.

There was an article on Sky Sports this morning with quotes from Smith discussing Eubank and Mwakinyo so I’d be surprised if it’s off. You never know though and there’s never normally smoke without fire.

They’d usually do a presser today and weigh in tomorrow.

So no Mwakinyo at the presser. Any word on whether he’s fighting or not or what the issue is? I didn’t listen to any of the presser to see how they addressed it. Can’t be ideal prep even if he is fighting.

Also the Costa/Docherty fight is off once again.

Don't think Quarless-Webster is happening either. Real shame as that fight and Docherty-Costa were intriguing matchups.

Azim and Clarke's opponents don't look up to much to be honest.

Card's gone from a definite watch to maybe only tuning in for the last two for me, I like Azeez-Pitters and the main was ok (presuming it's actually happening ...)

From a domestic perspective, no, not that I can think of. Ruiz-Ortiz but obviously that's in the States (and on a Sunday).

Is Mwakinyo gonna weigh in from Tanzania or is he even in the UK?
