Middleweights: Gerald McClellan vs. Vito Antuofermo

Post by scorpio83 »

12 or 15 Rounds Middleweight Bout

The G-Man would batter Vito behind his jabs and heavy punches including his big right hands to either stop him on the cut or knock him out in 7 rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Vito, close UD. Weathers the storm and comes on strong late.

McClellan was a huge hitter but a prime Antuofermo was such a pest and impossible to discourage I could see him winning a UD just by out working McClellan. Vito, of course, would be bleeding heavily by the end

Two possible scenarios. Either McClellan busts up Antuofermo so bad that the bout is stopped around the 7th, or Vito weathers the storm, or more likely hurricane and dominates the 2nd half in route to a close decision over a fading McClellan.

The only way Vito Antuofermo loses is by cuts. I don't see him get knocked out cold.

I think that he could weather the storm and win by split decision.
