Cooper was too willing to trade I think here. Even assuming we're getting Cooper at his best, I think Earnie is gonna crack him with one of them right hands somewhere in the first 5 rounds that he ain't gonna shake off, and even if he kinda does. He'll crack him with another one.

Cooper wasn't exactly Pernell Whitaker. He was just a game, tough guy, and I think Shavers is too strong and hits too hard. If Cooper somehow hangs on past 6 rounds it gets real interesting, but he'd have to survive some nuclear bombs to do it.
