Saying he's officially withdrawn.

Injured his left shoulder in sparring.

Doubt the fight will be rescheduled. Poor Lara gets shafted because he's too good

It was abit odd how this fight was rushed together at short notice. Perhaps Team Wood have had a change of heart, who knows. I like Maxi, but him v Galahad is a dreadful main event- I get MR had to press on with the card though as fighters need to get out.

Looks like it will be rescheduled for early next year. Warrington Vs Lopez looks to be coming soon and then they plan the winners to meet in the summer.

Santa Cruz long gone now from the equation

Luis Alberto Lopez - the guy that flattened Isaac Lowe. Will be a good fight against Warrington - another potential banana skin.

I get the impression that they’ve done a deal with PBC to have LSC have a unification against Vargas and then whatever the result the winner will vacate the WBA. Then Wood gets upgraded so he fights Warrington in a unification.

WBA said they didn't approve the unification with Vargas though,,

They did under the condition the winner fights the winner of Wood/Lara. That won’t happen and the winner will vacate.
