I like watching Bentley. Always in very good fights I think. Seems like a nice bloke outside of it too. Him v Eubank down the line would be fun, or Williams depending on what he's got left.

Interesting main event. MM deffo had Bentley buzzed in that first round. But after that it was pretty one way traffic.
Bentley deffo a deceptive hitter at this level. That was on paper, and in reality, a fairly straight forward defence.
Hamzah Sheerez is the next logical fight.

I’m sure he won’t say anything. No one will ever know you were too mashed to know what day it was.

Just caught up on the show.

What a mixed bag. Fights were either dire or class. For me, those kind of learning fights where you’ve got a 3-0 vs something like a 1-19 shouldn’t happen but, more importantly, they shouldn’t be on TV. We had something like 5 or 6 of them tonight on the show which was far too much.

The Arnold KO was nasty and the ref was awful. Not sure what the corner were doing throwing the towel in when their man is unconscious on the floor. I’d like to see his opponent over here again as he really came to fight.

The Zorro/Spelman fight was better than I was expecting. I don’t particularly rate Spelman but he gave it a real good go and the last few rounds were class.

I weirdly didn’t think the main event was as competitive as other people have made out. Morrison gave it a good go in the first but was being beaten up after that.

Frank was kicking off that Boxing News only gave it a pre rating of 2 stars. That’s exactly what I’d have given it but it over-delivered.

The whole show was much more entertaining than the Canelo card. Which was a surprise to say the least.

I’m not sure I’d go that far. The show until the Arnold fight was dire. We had 3 fights that were competitive though which was more than I was expecting beforehand and one of them was a cracker in the last few rounds. I also think good fights at York Hall just make them feel better because the atmosphere, even though it wasn’t full on Friday, is so good there.

The Canelo show was the reverse in that it heavily under delivered entertainment wise with most fights on the main card not being as good as you’d expect them to be. However I still really enjoyed the Bam Rodriguez fight and the Aponte/Molina fight was good on the prelims.
