Press Release
Lee Baxter Promotions will present another night of boxing in Toronto on September 14th, live on DAZN. The venue will be Rebel Entertainment Complex. Headlining the event is junio lighweight Bryan Acosta (17-0, 6 KOs) facing arguably his toughest test to date in Spain's Jon Martinez (12-6-5, 2 KOs). Acosta is a slick and skilled boxer while Martinez is unbeaten in his last six fights. An undefeated showdown between Josh Lupia (6-0, 6 KOs) and Jesus Solis Reyes (3-0) is the co-feature. A life-threating incident caused Lupia to take a two-year break from the ring, but he stayed mentally strong and after winning last month, he says he is fully dedicated again. The two-time Canadian amateur champion has phenomenal power, as his 100% knockout rate shows.
Also on the card, Uriel Perez (19-5, 18 KOs) battles it out with Edwing Davila (19-2, 11 KOs). Inactive since 2019, Perez last saw action in a first-round loss to former 140-pound champion Maurice Hooker. Perez has been training at Hardknocks Boxing Club in Toronto with head coach Billy Martin. He possesses good hand speed and power, as 18 of his 19 wins came by way of knockout.
Middleweight Adrian Bembridge (6-0, 3 KOs) will be kicking off the live broadcast on DAZN against an opponent to be named later. Last time out, Bembridge won via first-round KO.
Probellum’s Spencer Wilcox (3-0, 2 KOs) will also be on the card. The four-time Canadian amateur champion takes on Victor Cosmopulos Perez (5-5-1, 2 KOs) in a lightweight bout. Wilcox is from a true boxing family, with four brothers all boxing professionally... Starting off the night will be Ruben Perez Vallejo (7-1-1, 3 KOs) scheduled for a four-round match against Slovakia’s Kristian Patko (4-3-1, 4 KOs). Ruben has been training alongside brother Uriel Perez and Bembridge with Billy Martin in preparation for this fight.
