Golovkin vs Charlo for the WBC, WBA and IBF on SHO? How would go ?

Post by apollo creed »

I guess atm GGG is a "free agent" and he said he still wants to fight at 160 waiting for good offers.

GGG has to face Lara but if somehow G and Charlo's handlers agree to fight each other, how this fight would go ?

I'm favoring G to stop Charlo. I mean G would walk Charlo down in the later rounds. Of course Charlito would have some success but G would be too strong.

Charlo fought better against Derev and Golovkin has aged since those times. Charlo should be favored here.

Golovkin is getting older and progressively worse. I’m not trying to be derogatory when I say that, since it’s a scientific fact.

The man that faced Canelo last weekend will be superior than the fighter that will face Lara.

And the man that fights Lara will be better than the fighter that faces Jermall Charlo.

At this point in time, Golovkin would be very competitive against Lara and Charlo. He might even beat one or both of them.

But it could be an entirely different story six to twelve months from now. He’d probably be considered the massive underdog against Jermall Charlo.

For the record, GGG will probably vacate rather than fight Lara, because he’ll need more time to negotiate a network deal.

I reckon he’ll be inactive for the next eight to twelve months.

Charlo's inactivity could be a problem... otherwise I'd heavily favor him.

His stamina is also an issue. Perhaps the fight gets made at a catch-weight or 168... belts be damned

I doubt G will fight Lara too. I mean it ain't no good business and we know that at this stage G wants to get the biggest offers out there.

I could see G vacating that wba belt and try to fight Eubank Jr(if he beats Benn) or Munguia? But I think G really wants to be the mw undisputed champion to solidify his legacy. I guess GGG trying to unify with Charlo and Janibek would help him to avoid the mandatories.

Also G could sign a two or three fights deal with PBC for big money ?

GGG is the ultimate goal of DLH and Munguia, who they've been coddling for a couple years now.
My guess it will be him next?

If I were GGG, I'd fight Lara, and tell Charlo to fight Janibek, and the winners meet. If G loses to Lara, retire.

True. Mung(DLH) and Eubank Jr are very eager to fight an old GGG.
