The clamour to drop Fury while he still held the wbc belt being a case in point. People couldn't get him off the list quick enough.
To be fair, we weren’t the only ones to drop him.

I think the majority like Fury on these forums. Despite his constant retiring and chatting bollocks.

TBRB, Ring, BoxRec removed him.

Only ESPN still have him ranked and that’s probably due to the Arum links.

A current heavyweight list without the current unbeaten wbc champion lacks credibility though. Shouldn't even have been a vote on it.
I’m not gonna disagree. Maybe if he hadn’t retired for the 50th time this year..

He’ll get voted back in as soon as his next fight is scheduled. That’s a guarantee.

I'd have JJ over Whyte and probably AJ as well at this point.

AJ has wins over Ruiz and Pulev in that time, Whyte has a win over Povetkin. Do you base all of them on their wins over the past 3 years or is it selective? Recent wins should take priority over older ones but you can't completely eliminate the rest of the record.

Ignoring Whyte's two losses as well? AJ's two losses as well? Would you bet on Whyte or AJ over JJ at this point?

It's not about betting on who would win, it's about what they've accomplished in the ring. Otherwise Joyce would've been top 5 after 5 fights. AJ has losses to the consensus 1/2 while Whyte holds losses to consensus 1/2 and top 5 Povetkin which was also avenged. That can't be held against them when comparing it against someone who hasn't fought at that level yet.

You used wins over fat Ruiz and old man Pulev and a win over Pov who ko'd whyte prior to make your case. JJ's win over Parker, especially the manner with which he did it, is better than those wins. Maybe even his win over DDD.

Yeah, that guy. JJ's win over Parker trumps as I posted prior.

It's allowing multiple votes on Parker's at least.
