Dillian Whyte vs. Jermaine Franklin | DAZN - 26 November 2022
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. TBA | DAZN - 26 November 2022
it was excellent.
But .. compared to say the Gervonta v Santa Cruz uppercut; which you could see was delivered heavy. Povetkins looked more perfectly delivered (of course its the 16st behind it too)

The Povetkin uppercut would send Godzilla to Mars.tonyevs wrote: ↑27 Sep 2022, 10:49 The uppercuts from Povetkin and Fury whilst delivered beautifully and appearing devastating were not the typical kind of punches you see getting those results .. most times they snap the guys head up to open them up for the finisher .. but for Whyte they were the finisher.

Re: Dillian Whyte vs. TBA | DAZN - 26 November 2022
I not disputing it was perfectly delivered .. but The highlight real of Tyson landing a huge uppercut on Holyfield in their (1st fight I think) merely snapped the headback where as Povetkin on Whyte put him to sleep immediately.
My own opinion - and of course it's only an opinion - is that a Whyte of 2-3 yrs prior would have been on wobbly legs not out cold

Dillian Whyte finds new coach and resumes training ahead of planned return this year
Dillian Whyte has linked up with new coach Buddy McGirt and is training in California ahead of a potential ring return before the end of the year.
The 'Body Snatcher' has not fought since being knocked out in his WBC heavyweight title challenge against Tyson Fury back in April, and is currently a free agent. Whyte has been heavily linked with a number of fights since his inactivity began including a rematch with Joseph Parker and a trilogy bout with Derek Chisora.
Whyte worked with head coach Xavier Miller for his unsuccessful challenge against the 'Gypsy King' where he was unable to stamp his authority on the clash. But the 34-year-old has revealed he has now relocated to California and is eyeing a potential second shot at Anthony Joshua.
"Buddy has been a two-time world champion, he fought a lot of good guys and has been in the corner of a lot of top guys as well," Whyte told Sky Sports when assessing his new training set-up for his heavyweight comeback. "He's been around, had years and rounds of world title experience and I think that's why I need at this stage in my career, somebody who can make little tweaks and has a bit more experience in big fights.
"If the Fury fight doesn't get made with him and Joshua, me and Joshua can fight in December if he wants. He's training for it, he's ready for it, he's willing to take Fury on so if that fight doesn't get made I'll step up and take the fight with Joshua."

I'll watch the Sky live if it's available down here, need to wait and see who Dubois is up against (preparing for disappointment) and catch Whyte later. Just have to keep track of any undercard fights for laterRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 03:43Sky will be least appeal g with Riakporhe headlining. DAZN will have Whyte. BT will have Dubois

Whyte has swapped Portugal for California.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. TBA | DAZN - 26 November 2022
Difficult to be interested in Whyte now UNLESS he has a good 50/50 fight lined up.
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. TBA | DAZN - 26 November 2022
Arreola in there is concerning. Wallin is the toughest test. McKean and Forrest are relatively interesting as unknown quantities solely because they're unbeaten and would still be respectable comeback opponents for him but not stand out opponents.
I think we're going to see Whyte Vs Wallin and Dubois Vs Charr.

Interesting. Whyte’s pic on Twitter is of him and Wallin.
Unless he just hasn’t changed it since last year.

Wallin is an interesting fight. The others are not relevant.

Not a good sign for the quality of Whyte's potential opponent. If AJ fights Wallin and Whyte faces Franklin, McKean or Arreola then that's awful. McKean has a pushover fight this weekend so that may take him out of the running. Add Fury Vs Chisora and we have three pretty bad matchups in my opinion.

Eddie’s saying he’s looking to do Wardley/Gorman and Babic/Rivas on this show too. If so, I bet he’s thinking PPV.
