I don’t think so. Wlad was still extremely good when he fought Fury. I think he underestimated him though a little and Fury’s feints took Wlad out of his game. That version of Tyson would have been extremely difficult to prepare for.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
That was a very old Wlad as the calendar proves.
I agree Fury's style was something he was not expecting - Fury literally stank the fight out more than Wlad often would.
Four inferior boxers had been superior to Fury enough to land the big punch to stop Wlad .. and Fury went on the bugle bender instead of rematching Wlad.
Fury's career has had one or two great moments, but characterised by a mountain of rubbish and nonsense. His legacy is diminishing by the day and he risks going the way of David Haye and despite having truly great ability, is now typically remembered as a joke boxer.

Tyson wasn’t going for the KO. He boxed on the outside and kept Wlad gunshy. If Fury had gone for the stoppage then there’s more chance he gets caught and loses. I don’t hold that against him as he did what he thought was needed to beat a man unbeaten in over 10 years.
Tyson’s an exceptional boxer but his constant nonsense at the moment is getting harder to take. If it ends up in a Charr fight then he should be rightfully criticised for it.

I agree. I just doesn't seem to fancy the Uysk fight at all.Finkel wrote: ↑28 Sep 2022, 18:53Hmm... Why do I get the impression he is not going to fight Usyk anytime soon.
Now he is saying Joyce is #2 behind himself, and they should both fight each other.
Don't forget to include the contractual dig at matchroom fighters, Hrgovic and Zhang.
Queensbury and Fury are getting boring now.
Think it's time to avoid any media content that has a passing mention of Fury. Absolute waste of energy at this point
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
He is just selling another fWank fighter. Does anyone really expect him to fight Joyce anytime soon?
I guess he is mindful of having gone overboard on his slating others boxers recently .. his expletive rants haven't gained him any more fans or respect that's for sure.
So he trying to play the 'Peoples Champion' nonsense again by being respectful. Fury is just fake.

To suggest fury is ducking AJ is laughable. He'd mess the big stiff idiot up. Unfortunately this is about Hearn being a greedy dick. Your man just got battered, again, you're gonna have to take an unfavourable deal to get him his chance, you can't act all billy big bollox.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
How do you know it’s about Hearn being greedy? They were fine with the % split but the networks that the fighters are contractually bound to fight on (Fury in the U.K. and US and AJ globally) only met on Monday afternoon. No way was it getting signed by Fury’s childish deadline.blanca wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 04:45 To suggest fury is ducking AJ is laughable. He'd mess the big stiff idiot up. Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Anthony 3 losses Joshua, Eddie bull crapper Hearn -258, deadzone all ducking the unbeaten American smasher Tyson Fury.
AJ failed in America
Joshua is broken
He cannot get Fury out of his mind.
Hearn is very quiet.
Fury vs Joshua press conference would have been FIRE + the Gloves Are Off could easily be PPV.

I refuse to become a Fury parrot, too many of them around nowadays. How many times has 'middleweight' been rehashed since he uttered it?

Hardly laughable. Is there a better fight out there now Fury’s avoiding Usyk? You support Charr or Chisora?blanca wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 04:45 To suggest fury is ducking AJ is laughable. Hearn response to latest fury comments:
"Over the next week, we've worked tirelessly and had a number of meetings with Queensberry to get the contract in some kind of decent shape. Last Monday, we sent our final draft of the contract to Queensberry, only to see that Tyson Fury had publicly pulled out of the fight and it was no longer on the table.
"Yesterday we then received comments back from Queensberry on our final draft of the agreement, of which is now being reviewed.
"I'm not sure why Tyson Fury keeps setting unrealistic deadlines whilst also offering the fight to a number of other heavyweights for the selected date. If he is serious about the fight being made, I suggest he allows Matchroom and Queensberry to keep working hard to make the fight, of which everyone has been trying hard to do.
"You can't publicly keep pulling out of a fight and then restart negotiations when there has been so many positive conversations had. We'll see what happens from here."

The lineal HW champ is coming across as a bit desperate, a bit needy while AJ keeps schtum. Must be hard for Tyson fans to watch.
And what does he mean by “full transparency” ?

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Personaly i just don't watch or listen to his bollocks , Has a fighter , you got to give him respect because he is a boxer ,, but for the level Naaw , he has fought 4 fights worth metioning , Wilder who we all know is not the greatest in fact resume wise a poor champion , knocking out stiff after stiff , and an aging Klitchko who he would'nt rematch , other than that pretty much cherry picked and ducked his whole carreer ... really he should just piss off now and retire , because we all know he will not fight Usyk , he's putting obstacles in the way of AJ , and theres no way he gets in with Joyce ,,, he may has well just retire go spend some money he prmised too charity and live happy ever after

He’s not helping himself at the moment with the constant changing of mind/opinion.

That all the incomings/outgoings are fully visible to both teams so no one’s doing a McGuigan on them. If you work on a % deal then it has to be that way I think.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 07:45 The lineal HW champ is coming across as a bit desperate, a bit needy while AJ keeps schtum. Sounds fair. Must be a nightmare at times to promote Tyson with him seemingly changing his mind by the day.Blueprint wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 07:35 Hearn response to latest fury comments:
