All of the above fights for Eastman in fairly short order ...talk about a holiday in hell.... and he got Hohn Duddy thrown into the mix as well. The Joppy fight I seem to recall was hard lines for Howard and the opportunity that slipped by.

Is there any reason why Hands of Stone is permitted his own mega thread where he announces to the forum what fight he just watched? There's now 135 pages of these entries. I don't think there's that many Psalms. I know it's surpassed The Great Gatsby's page count.

Why does anyone need to know that on the 28th of September Hands of Stone treated himself to a viewing of John Duddy vs Howard Eastman?

Is there a particular reason why he feels that his Howard Eastman vs Robert McCracken viewing of the 21st of September in the year of our lord 2022 needed recording for posterity? Narcissist much?

Michael Moorer v Smokin' Bert Cooper.
A proper heavyweight ding dong with a young looking Donald Trump lording it up at ringside. Moorer looked finished early in the first round, going down and looking like he was done. He came back and put Smokin' Bert down heavily later in the round.
Plenty of back and forth action before Moorer finished Bert off in the fifth for a very gritty win.

Maybe just change the thread's name to "Fights I've Watched Recently" as some of them are not classics.

It started off with the classics but I've been at it for years, couldn't give a sh1t about the thread title in all honesty, the reason I still post is because I like to keep tabs on which old fights I've seen over the years, nothing more, Billy's a tit

You keep tabs on what you've watched by scrolling through a 153 page thread? How often do you do that?

well, for a start , several posters (including myself, Tom and saad), have said how much we enjoy reading of his journey through boxing history from the highest level to the more mundane

so, at least one particular reason is because fellow posters- and by that I mean normal empathetic participants, the kind of people who don't spend their entire time on the forums sniffing and sniding and turning their fvcking nose up- have expressly told him they enjoy this thread. cos we're not all self-styled misanthropes who like to assume a posture of lordly elevation.

so, again, fvck OFF.

Is there a particular reason you couldn't refrain from commenting? exactly how is stoney's thread detrimental to your enjoyment?

as you have the option to not read the thread or post on it why don't you fvck off?

I like watching old fights but I watch thousands, it's hard to keep up with what I've seen and what not, it's handy if a discussion comes up about an old fight and I can put my 2 cents in if I've watched it, there's no chance I'd remember if not for this thread, I was already well into the classics before I even started the thread so your well off about the narcissism, granted I don't go into detail like I used to but i still watch fights on a regular basis so this thread lets me know what I've watched and what not

Again though I ask, you got a problem like??

It's perfectly reasonable to ask a man why he sees fit to publically diarise his boxing viewing habits for 135 pages, just as it's perfectly reasonable to say 'Actually, I really enjoy reading posts such as "Howard Eastman vs John Duddy" and "Howard Eastman vs Edison Miranda'." Fair enough, each to his own and all that. But counter puncher having a meltdown over it, and writing an eight paragraph rage-post full of F-words and C-words is not a good look for a grown man. I hope he confines his teenage strops to Boxrec and doesn't behave like that in the real world.

Good to have illustrated the reading level of the people who enjoy this stuff though
