Hang on…if this fight gets made, it’s not going to be a free ticket affair and on the BBC?! But Tyson said that was the only way the fight was happening…The Gratest wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 08:19Maybe this one? Can't be certain.maverick23 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 08:00Which video? Are you kidding? Piece of piss to promote Tyson!maverick23 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 08:04Sounds fair. Must be a nightmare at times to promote Tyson with him seemingly changing his mind by the day.Blueprint wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 07:35 Hearn response to latest fury comments:
"Over the next week, we've worked tirelessly and had a number of meetings with Queensberry to get the contract in some kind of decent shape. Last Monday, we sent our final draft of the contract to Queensberry, only to see that Tyson Fury had publicly pulled out of the fight and it was no longer on the table.
"Yesterday we then received comments back from Queensberry on our final draft of the agreement, of which is now being reviewed.
"I'm not sure why Tyson Fury keeps setting unrealistic deadlines whilst also offering the fight to a number of other heavyweights for the selected date. If he is serious about the fight being made, I suggest he allows Matchroom and Queensberry to keep working hard to make the fight, of which everyone has been trying hard to do.
"You can't publicly keep pulling out of a fight and then restart negotiations when there has been so many positive conversations had. We'll see what happens from here."

He’s the easiest guy in the world to promote a fight for but if he’s like how is on Instagram behind the scenes then it must be like dealing with a child at times.garethhop wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 08:55Are you kidding? Teaboy smith and frazer clarke are so annoying (Frazer is Joshua's jock strap lol)

Essentially, I think Fury is writing the longest time wasting letter, ever

And what does he mean by “full transparency” ?
I must be a bit naive, I assumed the normal state of affairs would be for everything to be visible.

With normal business on a rev/profit share it would be. Boxing isn’t like normal business though. Just like Tyson thinking it’s simple to sign a potentially $100m deal when there’s various other contractual obligations in play.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 09:38Cheers Mavmaverick23 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 08:02That all the incomings/outgoings are fully visible to both teams so no one’s doing a McGuigan on them. So Tyson’s just done another video accepting the challenge of Manuel Charr.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
I'm no AJ fan but as a lawyer, I wouldn't permit my client (unless they chose to override my legal advice) to sign a contract with significant gaps/errors in it.
Eddie treats this stuff differently from Frank. Again, I'm not praising one promoter or being pejorative, against another, but certainly one has had far more litigation against them than the other.
It's not about "Just sign it" - what if the TV rights and the revenue share is still opaque? You would be mad.
I suspect Fury has never read an actual legal contract in his life, but hopefully he has had advisers that have done that - but they should be telling him we need a few more days to smooth wrinkles

Tyson was out his face at the Joyce fight. Absolutely off his nut on cocaine. His behaviour over these fights is more and more erratic by the day.
I’m betting on Joshua if this comes off.

Joshua at least fights live fighters, every time out. You’d never see him shouting for the likes of Charr.

Fury is more likely to appear in the Morecombe Christmas panto than fight Uysk or Joshua. He has gone from being the revered Heavyweight Champion of the World to becoming a fully qualified pantomime dame.

It’s my very expert opinion. The ringside interview he done he was all over the place, jaw swinging.

Pulev was an enforced mandatory. A bit different to calling out Manuel Charr in voluntary - someone who doesn’t have one meaningful win and has only boxed 5 rounds in 5 years.mickey1975 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 11:42Pulev is his last win. He's since lost to Del...

With FW contracts it's always worth reading the small print! AJ would prob be signing himself over for the rest of his career!Loynesy wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 10:19 I'm no AJ fan but as a lawyer, I wouldn't permit my client (unless they chose to override my legal advice) to sign a contract with significant gaps/errors in it.

He's the best reader to ever walk on God's green earth
Don't forget that when he retires he's going to take up doctoring and/or astronauting
