The Patterson of the Archie Moore, the second and third Johansson fight would cut the ring and landing good combinations on the slick Young of the Ali, Foreman and Norton fight. Young would have his moments by out-boxing and frustrating Patterson through the early rounds, but Patterson would come back and fought stronger in the later rounds to take a decision.
