Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - 2020 OLD thread
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
These social media rants (Fury) are doing no-one any favours. Especially him.
It is either a meltdown, or
A self-relevancy play (not needed btw) or a sad try at a character assassination of AJ.
Sadly it has backfired, badly
I feel for Frank trying to fire-fight this car crash. However, he is standing up because he can’t/won’t concede ground to Eddie.
If this fight happens, we’ll all be happy.
Charr fight won’t work as he’s outside top 15. So that would be a severe manipulation of the rankings if it happened.
For me this is smoke and mirrors and all roads to Usyk.
If so, I do hope Oleksandr runs rings around him.

Usyks shown absolutely no fear of Fury when they have met. He’s gamer than fury, madder than Fury and a far better and more accomplished boxer than Fury.
He’s intimidated.
He’s intimidated.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Yeah I think the same, Usyk is the one person who Fury can't get inside his head
If Fury turns up dressed as batman then usyk won't give fook and will dress up as spiderman and start singing and dancing with him
And that in itself will get inside Furys head for the first time, and i don't think he is confident in how he will react

He’s injured and was happy to name a date next year, when he’s recovered, Doofus.
Everybody’s smaller than Fury. That’s his main strength.

I'm starting to think Matchroom are running the clock down.

The AJS*xual's or the Joshua Wakanda brothers & sisters tubers/twitterers lol are working triple over time to protect Mr 3 losses and whose first fight in America resulted in him (aj) becoming a laughing sensation meme.
Joshua vs Usyk 2 aftermath was very funny (throws the belts out of the ring) ranting like a sissy and the post fight press conference crying) lips moving all funny like a baby.

God, I hate it when people mess up the correct number of parentheses.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
People saying AJ does'nt deserve the fight , suppose they have a good argument there ,, But what it does is demonstrate that the belts are really worthless , its who's getting in the ring that matters and people DO WANT TO SEE THIS FIGHT ,,, I know for sure i do ,,, But if we concede that it should'nt happen because AJ has lost his last two , forget Ruiz he avenged that loss , but if we concede he does'nt deserve it , then who should it be
Usyk who holds more belts is undefeated and a brilliant boxer , but als he's injured deserves a few month to recover , so its simple wait for Usyk , who is the number 1 in my opinion , but it can't happen in December
Who else ,, Joyce ,, well he's just fought does'nt need a hard camp and is definetly top 3 at the moment , so offer it to him ,, but have they NO ,, Why ,, simple he might take it he does'nt have time to hang around at 37 , so he's off the cards , they don't want to go near him , his engine and his size say DANGER DANGER , DANGER ,, so regards Joyce its do a Dr Smith and RUN AWAY , RUN AWAY .
Who else well Ruiz would be a good shout , but hell no he packs a punch and has fast hands and decent footwork and for this he would train the house down , and if they give him a shout he has 8 weeks to train , so the answer then is NO .
So who does it leave only AJ really , but he's so heavilly contracted all over the place theres no way it can be done over the phone in a week or two , and these stupid instagram deadlines make it even harder , that suggests Fury does'nt really fancy it , All this bollocks and deadlines is just to stall it so he can say i tried , and fight Charr or Chisora .
What should be happenning is he fights one of the above mentioned in December , or gets stripped if he fights Char or Chisora , time to make this clown relize if he does'nt want to fight the best , he can't hold on to the belt ,,
Don;t be suprised if he announces he's decided AJ is a foiol and does'nt deserve it , , Charr can't lick my boots so why should i fight him ,, so its gonna be Wilder in Febuary ,, mainly because Usyk will be ready for March

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
AJ would be down as a voluntary defence for Fury.
Of course people will say he doesn’t deserve it.
95% of voluntaries never do deserve a title shot.
This fight is bigger than the belts IMO.
It’s a huge fight. A big money fight.
Take the WBC belt out of the equation.
You telling me the fight won’t sell as much?
The boxers certainly will keep more of their purses that’s for sure.

It’s not going to be about demands.blanca wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 13:38They obvs have demands or they would sign the contract. They were ‘offered’ this fight out the blue.
This is potentially the biggest fight in British Boxing History, with rival promoters and TV companies to keep happy.
The contract is going to be huge. It’s going to take a significant amount of time to go through clause after clause, particularly on a document prepared by one of the canniest operators in the sport.
With respect, this is no Joyce-Parker as somebody has referenced on here. And I actually recall that fight took some time to sort from when it was first mooted.

I think the talk of it being made in December was always little more than wishful thinking, and probably just a smokescreen for one, if not both parties to start talking about a fight as a distraction.Frostieballs wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 03:44It’s not going to be about demands.blanca wrote: ↑29 Sep 2022, 13:38They obvs have demands or they would sign the contract. The GAD has spoken. He's said it looks like AJ and Hearn are backing out.
