Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
It's easy to hate fork tongued Fury.
He seems to have very few redeeming features other than a slippery tongue.
I bet Lancashire farmer, Martin Carefoot still has nightmares of ever hearing the name Fury.
-----
Tyson Fury and his team have been accused of bribing a farmer in an attempt to cover up drug cheating dating back to 2015.
The claim centers around failed drug tests for both Tyson and his cousin Hughie five years ago. At the time the Fury’s blamed the positive tests on uncastrated wild boar meat or contaminated supplements. Ultimately Tyson Fury accepted a back-dated two-year ban before being allowed to resume his boxing career in 2017.
Despite the matter being done and dusted Lancashire farmer, Martin Carefoot has decided to bring forward fresh allegations as Fury comes off the biggest win of his career over Deontay Wilder.
He claims he was offered £25,000 to lie about supplying the Fury family with wild boar meat, although he was never paid. Mr Carefoot also claims he signed two witness statements confirming he had supplied the team with wild boar meat, which have now been forwarded to UK Anti-Doping (UKAD).

------
However not long afterwards Mr Carefoot did a surprising U Turn and withdrew his original claim.
He said,
“I’ve had nothing but problems right from the beginning of this, and I don’t want to get involved,” Carefoot told the paper, having insisted he had withdrawn the claims "for a few reasons".
Heavyweight champion Fury and cousin Hughie were given backdated two-year drugs bans after testing positive for elevated levels of banned steroid nandrolone in February 2015.
The pair blamed the levels of the substance on eating uncastrated wild boar or contaminated supplements and insisted they never intentionally cheated.
Carefoot told the Mail on Sunday in March this year: "I have never kept wild boar. I have never killed a wild boar.
"I just went along with it, and they always dangled this carrot that I was going to get paid. When things got quite serious, they offered me a sum of money before it went to court in London, and a sum of money after. I went along with them because, I suppose, in my own way I was just helping them out.
"I feel sick of the lies and deceit and the public need to know the truth."

Unfortunately, it would seem that Tyson Fury is far from feeling sick of the casual lies and deceit that seem to perenially litter his career.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Apparently, if we are to believe Fury, and who wouldn't given his record of unflinching honesty, the fight is off.
This man is totally without principles and a walking disgrace to the sport.
Ordinarily I'd hope for Charr to win but who knows how much the Fury camp will offer his as a sweetener?
Seriously, at this point, I'd put nothing, nothing past this most duplicitous of men.
Let's see Fwarren explain this one away.

Why believe anything coming out of Hearn/Joshua's propaganda channels I don't know.
AJ is a sissy cry baby in the ring & on the mic.
Someone can't handle being the B side.
And not making it in America (Joshua is jealous of Fury in this department) and it really hurts.

Keep the 3rd Dec date, stick AJ v Whyte/Wallin on.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Too late for December.
I was always sceptical about Joshua ever fighting in December to begin with and Fury has left it too late to have a megafight in December.
He might lace them up if Tom Schwarz or Sefer Seferi are in interested in a rematch, but Fury isn't getting an opponent with a pulse to fight him in under two months.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
As if to put the endless penny pinching tactics of Fury into context Joe Joyce has stated he'd happily step in for a December 18 fight against Joshua.
Ever since that Klitschko fight negotiations with Fury seem to have become increasingly nightmarish.
They sure know how to put on the pre fight squeeze.
Joyce would fight Fury too but his demolition of Parker has effectively ruled that out.
In the meantime the Fury's search for a willing patsy goes on.
Its quite clear that in modern boxing that the sanctioning bodies have little or no control over the likes of Canelo and Fury.

If it's AJ vs Joyce, I'd pick AJ. Joyce is 37, and was slow even when younger. Good fight though.Thomastearns wrote: ↑02 Oct 2022, 08:16 As if to put the endless penny pinching tactics of Fury into context Joe Joyce has stated he'd happily step in for a December 18 fight against Joshua.

I would agree if AJ stands and trades. If he fights like he did with Ruiz 2, he outpoints him easily.oogiebe wrote: ↑02 Oct 2022, 13:09At this point I'd say JJ plows AJ.Bandog wrote: ↑02 Oct 2022, 12:52If it's AJ vs Joyce, I'd pick AJ. I'm not so sure.
Joyce is a different proposition to a morbidly obese Andy Ruiz in a party hat.
Joyce has that ramrod job and he relentlessly comes forward and doesn't give his opponent a break.
Joshua would expend a lot of energy trying to outbox Joyce and he is not blessed with the greatest stamina.

If joyces chin holds hes going to beat joshua and wilder just based on conditioning
Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Rather Wilder/Joshua. This fight I don't care for when there's a guy named Usyk that Fury should be fighting for undisputed.

Eh Joshua was holding out for more cash. Bit disappointing, sort of feel the same way as Fury about this, if the dude can't be a warrior and sign up then he shouldn't get his chance ever. It won't be Fury fighting Charr, it will be gutless AJ but are his fans going to keep watching his rubbish fights?
Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Fury needs to lay off the nose candy. He acts and talks like a narcissistic idiot that wants attention.H8Usernames wrote: ↑03 Oct 2022, 16:01 Eh Joshua was holding out for more cash. Yes, I can see Joyce wearing AJ down. Although, worth noting, Joshua is still better than anybody Joyce has beaten to date.Syntax Error wrote: ↑02 Oct 2022, 16:39I'm not so sure.

Tyson Fury has been shook ever since Usyk hit the scene. It appears that he will have to be shamed into taking the fight.

Very interesting and detailed update from George Warren on TalkSport as to what happened over the last 7 days.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
Fury's now managed to piss off Charr after the news of him also sending Chisora a contract emerged.
Either Fury is totally amoral or he's totally immoral.
Either way the man is a complete scoundrel of the highest order. He might call himself the Gypsy king, but everyone knows he doesn't have an ounce of class.
FW, who's been very quiet about the whole matter, might need to go into hiding after this.

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
just FYI, a search yields 17 pages of results at 20 posts per page. my guess is at least 90% negative towards Fury?
let's factor that down to be conservative, to 70% (VERY conservative)
that would mean you've posted about 240 negative posts about fURY

I'm not sure I trust your guess work as you seem to be hoping the results will match your hypothesis.
100 posts would be a fair sample. Good luck!

you're joking, I've seen enough of them to know any thread involving Fury also involves that dude opining repetitively on what an awful man Fury is, I barely post on this forum and even I have noticed the obvious thing in front of my eyesFinkel wrote: ↑04 Oct 2022, 20:15Please could you read them and report back?Counter-puncher wrote: ↑04 Oct 2022, 11:39 just FYI, a search yields 17 pages of results at 20 posts per page. my guess is at least 90% negative towards Fury?

Re: Fury vs AJ on for Dec. 3rd
So after all the usual Fury bullshit he's looking to fight Chisora on Dec 3rd, as many had predicted he would all along.
Why Saudi would want to pay for that isn't clear.
Fury's promoter FW seems to have now gone underground after declaring that the fight with Joshua was as good as made.
Meanwhile Usyk is left considering a choice of dropping back to Cruiserweight or taking on Wilder next.
Well he won't get Canelo now, so maybe Wilder is the best option.
Just where these chess like manoeuvres now leave Anthony Joshua is not quite clear either as his promoter seems preoccupied elsewhere.
Perhaps Joyce or Dubois next?
Anyway it looks like a hugely anticlimactic end of the boxing year unless Spence and Crawford finally get it on.
Roll on 2023.
