The Board will do fvck all as usual. Cancelled a perfectly good show for no reason a few weeks ago, but will let this go on unaffected. Should be scrapped as not fit for purpose.
Eubank needs to weigh over 160 if he takes it.
Benn looked on something when I saw a recent picture. Another disgusting cheat taking something plus making eubank suffer with rehydration clause.

Can they actually do anything?
Why hasn’t he failed a UKAD test? Is it not on their banned list (like the Billy Joe one a few years back), or do they need to wait for the b-sample? Or in their testing did he not fail?

If they can cancel a show because a lady has died of old age, I imagine they can cancel a show if the headliner fails a drug test

You’d have thought so but in their rules, has he actually done anything wrong? Clearly he has but they’d need grounds as to why it shouldn’t go ahead.
I bet Kugan’s been messaging Eddie all morning trying to get first dibs.

Not all tests are taken on the same day, obviously. The skill to doping is not getting caught. Benn may have blown his VADA test by a day or two and then passed a UKAD test the day after that, for example. This stuff doesn't stay in your system for ever but the benefits are long lasting.

Yeh. Just because the limit is 157, doesn’t mean Benn HAS to come in at that weight.
I remember when Pac fought Margarito, catchweight 152 I think. Pac came in below 145.

Ok - so it’s a banned substance by VADA and by UKAD too but he just luckily passed their test.
I know very little about this kind of stuff. Is it naturally occurring in blokes?

Nope, its a drug that has to be taken. Helps recover Testosterone levels quicker after a cycle of anabolic steroids

No it's not naturally occurring. You take Clomid after a steroid cycle to help restart your natural testosterone production. It's an anti-estrogen drug used to treat fertility problems in women.

When drug cheats/users come off anabolic steroids their own natural testosterone is significantly lowered and their natural estrogen levels may be significantly elevated. These people take drugs such as Clomid to block estrogen from interacting with the pituitary gland. This leads to an increase in their own natural testosterone bringing the natural balance back closer to normal.
It is not naturally occurring. His only real hope of an excuse is that the test is contaminated, highly unlikely, or that he accidentally took his partner's fertility drugs. Nobody will believe him though.
VADA is voluntary isn't it. So whilst it will show up samples, you cannot break any rules as they don't have authority on the fight. The rules are UKAD/BBBoC and obviously the contract for the fight. Also, the B sample will only be tested by VADA if the athlete requests it?
So can the statement "The B sample has yet to be tested, meaning that no rule violation has been confirmed" actually be correct?
I hope the proper media are all over Benn's team and Matchroom on this.

It would suggest he had some knowledge of when he would be tested to fit in his steroids cycles. It would be interesting to know how he kept under the radar for the last few weeks. Was he training abroad far away?

Thanks.
So clearly there’s no way he accidentally took his partner’s pills (who a year or two ago had a baby). Only possible way to argue it is contamination which I’d imagine is super unlikely.
I bet this is causing absolute chaos. Eubank Snr will be pushing for the fight to be cancelled, Conor’s either pregnant or his head will be fried by being caught, they can’t promote the same way and commercial partners may not be as keen to be involved. Plus Eubank Jr will likely be asking for all sorts as recompense.
Weirdly I wonder if this might help their PPV sales. I’ve had 3 casual boxing fan mates already message me about this.
The clowns at sky sports, desperate to bury the fight, but also desperate to throw shade on it, so leading with the story on sky sports news and thereby promoting it at the same time, what conflicted agony
