There is a lot of money here. Some slimy operators too. A few back handers would sort it. I think its 50:50 right now as to whether the fight goes on.Spud wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 13:33 Another point ….
I have already stated its too short a time to get a foreign sanctioning board in. Theres numerous points why it would not be possible.
Another point is many sanctioning boxing boards from other countries have an alliance with BBBofC so would back their sanctions.
Sayin all that I see one chink in the armour and that is Saueurlands/Wasserman have a great relationship with the Getman boxing board … but even if they were keen … it would take a awful lot of time to organise … certainly not within 3 days.
If the BBBofC stand firm is a postponement… with a fight tsking place say at the end of october beginning of november

Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
The fight could go ahead without any sanctioning body anyway but obviously both boxers and the promotor etc and anybody involved would put their board licences at risk so maybe BIBA will offer sanctioning for a fee obviously it could be the opportunity that they have been looking for !

Sadly another reason why the fight might not take place…
Jake Paul has offered to fight Eubank Jr so with the money generated in thst fight will mean Eubank will not be out of pocket

TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 13:41Good post but don't you think most of the guys at that level are on gear? You have said you are involved in boxing, training young kids and so on. What would be the highest level of fighter that you've trained? I would have thought you'd have insight into the amount of drug use that goes on.coneye wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 13:23 Few things here that really stand out .
I think Photo's of Benn recently sort of tell everyone he's using the size he's at ,,
Eubank snr wanting it stopped now speaks volumes seems he already knew a couple weeks ago
Benn is a cheating bastard , too be honest i think his father was has well ,, but it seems that Simms is well in there ,
There stupid if your gonna do it be smart enough you don't get caught .
Hearn well he just does'nt give a fooook does he providing the ppv goes ahead ,
Benn well he should but won't be banned for life .
BRITISH BOXING IS CORRUPT AND STINKS ,, from bad discisions , blatant robberys , handpicked gimmee fights , down to outright blatant cheating it STINKS
However part of me still wants the fight to go ahead , simply because i would love nothing more than to see Benn start to gas out and take a very long and sustained beating that would end the cheating bastards carreer ,, for me its just the sheer audacity of the man , to cheat and use the way he obviously has , yet still continually bragg , boast about every thing from his cars to his wins
I was just surprised at your vitriol towards Benn.
Would agree it would be silly of me not to think most at that level are not on it , obviously they are .
Regards insight into the drug use , i'll be honest i don't know a thing about them , i think ameteurs are more heavilly controlled , i've trained a couple who were lucky to represent there country and i know it was very very strict on what they could and could'nt eat drink ect ,, in pro's i' trained a few who were reasonable level , but in all honesty part time pro's who were not at that international full time level where it seems to explode ,and non of them were juicers ,, so i hav'nt really come across it much ... If i wanted to help a lad juice up ,, i'd probably start with giving him orange juice
Regards Benn , one thing i dislike more than a bad loser is a bad winner and he is one , and this just proves it before you could suspect it now its there for all too see ...
Theres things in boxing that i just don't like ,, one is seeing your kid or anyone elses kid thrown to the wolves and risked getting hurt just so another boxer can get an easy win , i hate it ,, i know its never gonna change but i don't like it , i just don't like cheating of any kind , , happens more in pro's and i just can't understand WHY promoters put there money behind someone who needs easy wins or being juiced up to win .
Suppose you could say i'm being naive , but its there and one of the main reasons i gave the sport away and am losing interest more and more .

Eddie and Kalle looking at bringing Luxembourg in again apparently shameful the pair of them, Eddie bent over backwards to back Whyte and basically beat a drug rap and doing it again for Benn here, both camps have known for 2 weeks, just can't understand why they'd fork out on VADA if they're gonna flat ignore the findings, Hearn only concerned if it's the opponent who pisses hot, both dangers to the sport, bodies got to start clamping right down on this, Haye and Chisora with Luxembourg never bothered me, the reasons were tame but this is the lowest of the low

Apparently it’s a fertility drug meant for women that Benn has taken.
The fight will now be for the IVF title.

People suggest the b sample might not get tested befor the fight… what the fuk… surely the second an a sample fails they test the b sample.
If they can’t test then sample befor the fight then what’s the point…. Better thannothingihuessbut I’d rather catch potential drug cheats befor they batter peoples brains.

That wasn't natural either. Same thing.jimmystone wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 11:30This is not the same. This is an artificial substance not something produced naturally by the body. Not that Roy was clean but you get my point.

Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
Think what makes this one stand out above a lot of the others is the way Benn has changed his body , i mean he was always ripped but look at him now , and then had the cheek to put in the rehydration clauses like he did ... I can't blame seniour for not wanting the fight ,, Too be honest if i was snr i would be thinking on excatly the same lines .
It really is time to come down hard on this shite , and start giving out life bans for the fighter and 5-10 year bans to his trainers ,, you will never convince me they did'nt know .
I've said many of times on here i know zilch , nothing about steroids , but i do have eyes , I think once the trainers start getting banned they themselves will help stamp it out

Am I right in thinking that the "B" sample will be Benn's to have tested himself - in order to defend if something like this came up? Probably why they've said it won't be tested until after the fight - trying to muddy the waters
Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
Has there ever been a situation in any sport where the B sample has come back negative after a positive A sample?

I rewatched their Dad’s first fight the other day and I’m surely not alone in thinking that both guys were on gear back then.
Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
Totally agree with this and you have to wonder why it's allowed to carry on unchecked .coneye wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 16:26

The politics of boxing is a joke infact everything about boxing apart from the fights can get in the bin , fck it if both men want to fight let them, least we might get a half hour entertainment, I'm passed caring about this, why can't all testing agencies sing from the same hymn sheet?
As fcked as it is Eddie is right, the BBBC have no legal grounds to suspend Benn, he's passed all their tests

Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
It just can't seem to be eradicted can it ,, I think the real big bans are the only way to go , either that or make it legal so its level for everyone take them or not your choice , but i can't see that ever happenning ,,, problem is to make real big bans enforcable , you need some sort of govt control and thats something you do not need , some states in Aust have got it , and its not helped boxing ,rd350lc wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 16:47Totally agree with this and you have to wonder why it's allowed to carry on unchecked .coneye wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 16:26

I get why they’ve blocked the fight but what doesn’t sit well with me is that they’ve known about this for 2 weeks and have only binned it off today because the news has got out.handsofstone wrote: ↑05 Oct 2022, 16:49 The politics of boxing is a joke infact everything about boxing apart from the fights can get in the bin , fck it if both men want to fight let them, least we might get a half hour entertainment, I'm passed caring about this, why can't all testing agencies sing from the same hymn sheet?

If the Daily Mail didn’t have the story then it would have been swept under the rug by all, including the BBBC.
