Re: Fury vs Chisora III is on (apparently)
Hopefully the Fury-AJ fight goes ahead instead of Dec 3, but with a Royal Rumble aspect where Chisora enters the ring midway through Round 5 and starts randomly hitting both of them and staring at them. Charr as referee.
Re: Fury vs Chisora III is on (apparently)
A genuine 50/50 pick em fight. Should be an absolute barnburner. It's the type of test Fury needs to really show his mettle to the boxing public.big lennox wrote: ↑07 Oct 2022, 14:56 According to various newspapers, Fury has signed to box 38 year old Chisora for a third time on the 3rd December 2022.
Personally, I am delighted. The first two fights were so close and left so many unanswered questions..
It will be interesting to see how the general public responds to this fight. Will they embrace it or will it be a muted affair?
Re: Fury vs Chisora III is on (apparently)
So excited, can hardly wait.
Is it PPV? How much?
Is it PPV? How much?
Re: Fury vs Chisora III is on (apparently)
38 year old Chisora is going to be able to bring something completely different to 27 and 30 year old Chisora. Whereas, 34 Fury is past his best and will just use the same old tactics.
Chisora in 2022 is basically a new breed of heavyweight who has such a variety of offense that I'm not sure Fury will know how to deal with him.
Chisora may actually be the favourite going into this one. Chisora has hit the canvas four times in the past four years, whereas Fury's record of four KO's in five fights is his best since pre-Chisora 2. This means that because of his vulnerability to being dropped, Chisora can bring something different and catch Fury by surprise.
It really is a toss up.

How about AJ vs Whyte 2 on the undercard
Re: Fury vs Chisora III is on (apparently)
Surely just a publicity stunt to force someone else to get a move on and sign on the dotted line to fight Fury.
Then again, who wouldn't want to watch Chisora flop yet again rather than see Fury fight AJ...apart from almost everyone !

I’m trying to think of trilogies where one fighter has won all 3, comfortably, and I’m coming up blank.
Can anyone think of any?

I've never heard of a trilogy where the first two fights were comprehensive victories for the winner. Can anyone think of any?

Joyce said he’d be ready for Fury post fight. It was also confirmed by Shane Watson, from his management team.mickey1975 wrote: ↑07 Oct 2022, 16:15So you KNOW that? I read it on Joe's Twitter. Their position changed at some point during the Fury/AJ negotiations.
