Fury first mentioned a 3rd Chisora fight ages ago, well before the Joshua negotiations and Usyk ruling himself out, this was always the plan, beat up on guys you've already beat, a clown of a champ who somehow gets away with murder to his diehard fans, pathetic title holder and a pathetic defence

Here's a video of Fury suggesting that Uysk is on PEDS, glossing over the fact that, of the two of them, Fury is the one who has failed a drug test for PEDS.

Uysk has really rattled him, hasn't he!?

“That’s where we’ll be going and that’ll be on December 3. We were just trying to find someone and it’s been very difficult. What it’s all about is that Tyson will have had one fight in a year and we always expected the fight in December would have been Usyk, but Usyk wasn’t available.

“Now, I hope, that looks like some time in February. Tyson wants to fight before then and get out, we want to get him out and that’s where we’re at. I’m not going to disregard Chisora but if he comes through that then we’ve got the big one [vs Usyk]. That’s really what it’s all been about this year.”
Warren is massaging the truth a bit there.

I'm sure Kabayel would have been up for fighting Fury. He is also a top rank fighter so that would have made things smoother. He was also top 15 WBC, until the palms of the WBC got greased and Chisora replaced him out of nowhere. Oh and he is undefeated and has a win over Chisora, too.

Earlier talk of Bowe, makes me see perhaps Fury has much more in common with the American in terms of legacy than LL. The cv seems a bit thin other than the central trilogy. For my money he probably rejected AJ because he wasn’t confident he could be a match for him physically in time for December, whereas Chisora is a known and very beatable proposition even at 60-70% fitness.

Is that a recent (e.g. this week) video of Fury in the twitter tag - he looks really different.

And they’re both 258 MGT.
more evidence that Fury and his constant fountain of tripe should not be taken seriously .
Isn't it evidence that 258 knew AJ wasn't interested as they were negotiating for Del, too?
just evidence that fury was takin the piss offering a fight to chisora whilst trying to pressure aj to sign a contract in an unrealistic time frame .

Petrified of being shown up by a " middleweight "

he used to say that it was pointless fighting an unknown guy who doesnt even speak english and now since Usyk beat AJ twice convincingly and has a much bigger profile he has changed tack .

258 is AJ and his employees. So they will all know exactly what was being said by Fury's team in negotiations for AJ and Chisora.

This fight is pretty terrible, but Chisora has given us some good fights and who can begrudge him an unexpected shot at the world title? I would absolutely love it if he dredged up some punch from the Gods and sparked Fury out.

That would be terrible for boxing and throw the heavyweight division into more disarray than it is right now. One of those freak endings would be more fitting, where they clock each other simultaneously and both get counted out.

Chisora would defend against AJ, lose the belt, AJ would fight Usyk for a 3rd time and lose. Usyk would then be undisputed.

And that's the difference between and ATG and an also ran, the ATG's don't leave it in doubt, because they take on enough top flight fighters to prove it beyond doubt.

3 wins over wilder, 3 over chisora and a win over Wlad don't make an ATG.
