Would Benn be keen to take 2 years out before he has hit the big money?big lennox wrote: ↑12 Oct 2022, 15:31Genius1103924 wrote: ↑12 Oct 2022, 13:171. Tell everyone you ate uncastrated wild boar meat.
2. When the BBBofC write to you asking you to contact them to attend a hearing..... don't.
3. Knowing you're a PED cheat and the afore mentioned hearing would mean a ban, go on a diet of alcohol and recreational drugs.
4. Develop depression, which isn't helped by your career being in the toilet and the massive amount of depressants you've been drinking.
5. After suicidal thoughts, you hit the gym again.
6. Because the ban would have been for 2 years and you've effectively sat out said ban.
7. Get your lawyers and your Uncle Fwank to leverage the board into giving you your licence back without you having to admit that you did anything wrong.
8. Resume your career.
Why not? It's worked before.![]()
The Dillian Whyte way would be the most sensible
Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
Probably given a 6 month ban backdated from September and he will fight again March.
Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
Who knows , what he'll get , lawyers will be involved what he gets and what he deserves are two different things ,I really do not see how he can get banned , don't know i'm not a lawyer , but realisticly , who can ban him , BBBC can ban him but what for , he passed there test ,, If what were reading is correct ,, he failed to sign with VADA , then he did , he's failed two tests for vada , , why not be banned the first time ,, but its vada .. and the bbbc do not recognise vad so really whats he done wrong by the standards bbbc set .
I would love to see him being made an example of and banned for life , his trainer 10 years and if proven his promoter helped cover it up take his promoters liscence for 5 years ,, but i'd also like to win the lottery , its not ganna happen .
Think the most likely scenario is he gets a slap on the wrist due to a technicality , such has bbbc don't recognise vada so therfore he's done nothing wrong he passed our test .
But wheres that leave his carreeer , without the peds ,, will he fight Eubank ,, who will he fight , can't see him taking on anyone decent without help , .
What should happen but probably will not is BBBC should take this opportunity to come down hard recognise vada and clean up British Boxing the dirtiest boxing in the world

Ok. I will if you agree to do the same but replace the word Gypsy with Bikie. Deal? Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
My thoughts are his team will just be extra careful with the PEDs in future. His GP states only an idiot fails UKAD, and he passed those anyways .. he appears to be going the celebrity/youtuber route so won't need VADA and their trickier testing. But wheres that leave his carreeer , without the peds ,, will he fight Eubank ,, who will he fight , can't see him taking on anyone decent without help , .
Nothing really changes except he avoids the top guys in the division - but Eddie seems to have recognised he isn't good enough for them anyways.

Interesting a lot of people saying they guessed something was up when he suddenly discovered new punching power, and knocked out Algieri and and the others.
So what do they make of George Kambosos suddenly discovering amazing punching power dropping Lopez and winning the 135 title I wonder

Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
Caught him cold with a flush shot, was a great punch. Lopez was a mess that night and drained at the weight. It wasn't a KO punch but Kambosos had been improving for some time in the run up to that fight.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑13 Oct 2022, 08:08 Interesting a lot of people saying they guessed something was up when he suddenly discovered new punching power, and knocked out Algieri and and the others.

I wonder what they’re thinking they’ve got that will prove innocence. I can understand Benn but Eddie will look completely stupid, and will lose more credibility, if it’s something people will see straight through (I took my wife’s drugs by mistake etc.).TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑13 Oct 2022, 09:11 Hearn still going. Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
It's gonna take some serious explanation to clear Benn, especially with Joe Public, getting cleared of any wrongdoing by the board or/and VADA is one thing but getting the masses to believe is another thing altogether especially as no matter what happens from here on in people have made up their minds, more so when you consider Hearn is involved
I'd love nothing more for Benn to be cleared, I was a fan of his, firmly on the train and any fan of the sport should want to see 1 less drug cheat than we'd thought there was but it's gonna take a helluva explanation to get him off the hook here, I just hope it's no technicality , he's either took it deliberately or not
I'm 90% convinced he's juiced but hope to be proved wrong, I live in hope

Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
In a recent interview with boxing Social, Eddie Hearn seems to hint at Conor Benn’s innocence, this will come out soon.
What I dont understand is in a number of interviews I have heard people mention that the levels found in sample A are so small it seems that will result in Benn’s innocence.
Now to my key point if indeed no matter what levels an offending item is found in a sample there needs to be an explanation how that minuscule quantity found its way into the sample.
Am i missing something here?

That's what I'd assume as well, shouldn't matter about the trace, some dopers have zero trace

i mean eddie is a shameless bs-spewer, who is constantly on record contradicting himself or clearly at odds with reality. remember when whyte actually beat the count vs pov, even though we can all see a video of whyte being slept
are ppl really thinking he must be innocent or get cleared cuz eddeh says so? not convinced tbh

I am glad someone agrees with me … the adverse finding in Sample A shows very low levels of clomiphene no matter what the levels are, what the fcuk have traces of a female fertility drug been found in a male’s test.handsofstone wrote: ↑13 Oct 2022, 13:38 That's what I'd assume as well, shouldn't matter about the trace, some dopers have zero trace
There’s a reason why so many people voted Conor Benn would get away with this on a legal technicality.

Nothing will happen, boxing is a joke.
Re: Conor Benn - What Will Happen
He's already positioning his side of the argument which is Conor was the victim of some flawed testing process.
He never actually tested positive it's all been a terrible mistake.

Benn can get 4 years by the BBBC and he'll simply fight abroad, Matchroom are global, Eddie will see it as a good opportunity to build Benn globally, he can fight overseas and when the anger on these shores die down he'll come back
