How will Fury get motivated to beat a guy he's comfortably beaten twice already?

Will anybody even pay for this shyte?

PS: Who voted yes? :o
Probably that renowned sh*t stirrer Thatcher :shame:
not even i could vote in favour of this smelly turd of a fight. chizzy-fury 2 might be the worst fight ive ever seen, the last thing i want is for them to do it again

Pathetic fight. Fury won’t ever go near Joshua or Usyk. Chisora has had the contract longer than Joshua did. Why isn’t he calling him out with pretend deadlines like he did Joshua?

Doesn't surprise me, every couple fights Fury likes to fight someone with no business getting a title shot. Chisora isn't terrible but thinking about the Pulev fight. How Chisora looked like a shot version of White, makes me like this matchup even less then I already do. Wouldn't buy it on PPV but I'd rather buy it on PPV then Wilder-Helenius...

Enlightened-One wrote: 12 Oct 2022, 04:54 Tyson Fury tried to get Usyk, but he didn’t want to fight until the new year. ‘The Gypsy King’ also tried to face Anthony Joshua, but AJ wouldn’t agree terms. So the man from Morcambe needs to remain active.

So it was inevitable that Tyson Fury was going to engage in a low-risk stay busy bout, whilst patiently waiting for Usyk and Joshua to finally sign their mega payday contracts. And ‘Del Boy’ is an ideal opponent for him to engage in an interim fight.

Dereck Chisora always seems to give it his all during his bouts and his fights are phenomenally entertaining to watch!

‘Del Boy’ beat Takam and Pulev. He was also far more competitive against Oleksandr Usyk than Anthony Joshua was.

One could easily argue that Chisora boasts unofficial victories over the likes of Whyte, Parker and Helenius.

Dereck has also filled many stadiums and headlined lots of PPV’s and Sky Sports main events, which means he’s a commercially big name.

And he is also phenomenal at selling fights. His antics always seem to grab the media headlines.

When Chisora eventually faces Tyson Fury in December, more than eight years would have passed since they last fought. He’s earned the right to compete in another marquee bout.

The BoxRec forum also considers Dereck Chisora to be amongst the top-eight world-rated heavyweights competing today, above the likes of Bakole, Ortiz, Wallin, Helenius, Sanchez, Pulev and Hrgovic.

And finally, Tyson Fury has always doggedly maintained for several years that he planned to fight Wilder, Joshua and Chisora before retiring:

“I’m going to knock Wilder out, and he’s not going to want a rematch, I’m going to fight Joshua, I’m going to beat him too, and then I’ve always said to my old pal Derek Chisora I’d have a farewell fight with him.

“Maybe we can get the Old Trafford fight with old Del Boy.

“And then it’s curtains on a fantastic career.”

Therefore, Tyson Fury’s intention to have one final outing against Dereck Chisora was always one of his goals that no one previously complained about, so why are people moaning now?
Good Post, with Good Valid Points.
Even though they've fought one another twice, it's now past-tense.
Chisora has been in Relatively impressive bouts since.
He's a Very Burly Rugged Powerfull and "Motivated to Win" type of Opponent. No Pushover, or Slouch. Not a Big Dosser either. :OhYes: :box:

Just look at the Really Old-Time days as well.
It was a Common thing to Face off a few or more times versus someone you already won a couple of bouts against.
Saddler-Pep, and Robinson-LaMotta immediately enters my mind. I know there's Many Many More examples throughout Boxing History. A Much More Recent example is obviously Pacqiou-Marquez.

I honestly cannot say this morning who is a bigger chicken? Terence Crawford or Tyson Fury? I'm going to go with Fury though b/c he towered over Usyk in that one photo with Bob Arum.

My interest in boxing is at an all time low. Like, seriously, are there big fights anymore? Nowadays it just feels like fights that logically need to happen rather than both fans dying for it and the logical necessity.

Like, I remember forums used to go nuts when it was Matthysse/Garcia, Kovalev/Ward, Canelo/Golovkin, but nowadays, it just seems like these fights aren't as big.

I mean Usyk/Fury won't do mega numbers. It's a necessary fight, but I'd bet more people would tune in for Joshua/Fury than Usyk/Fury. Joshua/Fury would've been on the level of Canelo/Golovkin if Joshua defeated Usyk, but alas.

I approve of the fight. The point it makes from Fury is very substantial.

AJ had the opportunity even after completely blowing being able to dictate terms 3 times in the ring. He needed to accept the fight when given it even after all those failures of his.

AJ losing twice in a row and getting a shot from Fury is charity for the poor and something people should not have been so easy to approve of.

But AJ Is not poor. And if he did take the Fury fight and win his upside would be to higher levels than he ever had before even after those 3 defeats. No real risk for him.......maybe the biggest potential rewards in the history of boxing. Sign the f'n contract. No matter what it says as far as money or any other BS. AJ looked his gift horse in the mouth and then Fury spat all over him. And I approve of that.

Right AJ failed in two attempts to beat Usyk and then Fury retired. Here you go, Evander Holyfield advice to Tyson Fury was to duck Usyk. ;-) https://www.the-sun.com/sport/4803988/e ... tion-usyk/

Ortiz might shake his head, but I’d Chisora to beat him.

Who has Ortiz beaten?

Wouldn't actually mind that fight, although I would rather both of them retired. They're both too old and taken too many shots.

Because Usyk would make the knock kneed clumsy Fury look like he has two left feet.
Fury turned down an undisputed fight with Usyk. Both Joshua and Whyte were willing to step aside. Facts.

I think Ortiz turned down a shot vs Joshua to face Wilder for a second time. I questioned that move at the time b/c I thought he was only going to get older.
