Joshua tried to make Wilder fight several times, Wilder himself admitted he turned it down for Fury rematch but by knocking out Helenius this means Joshua will duck him? I know Dev is a serial Warren brown noser but he doesn't have to talk shite to make a knob of himself

I wonder who the bookies would have as betting favourite with Wilder vs AJ.

I personally can't see AJ outboxing Wilder for 12 and not making a mistake.

A couple of points. Helenius is a bit chinny and it was a terrible idea to walk towards Wilder with his chin sky high and no defense......but, Jesus, Wilder can punch.

It does show how tough Fury is to have withstood that kind of power. I have been frustrated with Fury of late, messing around in negotiations etc and boxing Chisora again, but you have to give him massive credit for the Wilder wins. Gee wiz, what a puncher Wilder is. Absolutely lethal.

Joshua can KO Wilder for sure, but probably it's him, who will be KOed. Joshua is better technically, but he can't effectively fight in an aggressive fashion against those, who can fight back. Joshua remains opened and his punch resistence isn't that good as well as his recovery from punches. Wilder is significantly tougher.

yes, wilder beating helenius has changed it all. not like wilder had blasted out a shitload of #20 fighters before.

in fact, i hear aj has crossed gerald washington off the list for his brutal ko of helly too

Wilder is an incredible puncher. There's hardly even a swing in that ko shot and he turned Hel's lights off.

Was a legit KO for sure

Helenius trying to be aggressive walked into it.

What’s more concerning is, Wilder can’t box to save his mums life.

I’ve seen him use his jab well, and he CAN use it.

But he’s just not good.

Being a HW and having power is what has gotten him through.

He landed punches on Helenius’ back at one point.

You could be right. AJ puts them together better. But Wilder holds a shot better.

Still my favourite fantasy fight right now. 50-50.

Lol at speculations about a dive. It was a counter right to the target, which was coming right at it.

Surely Wilder can make cruiser if he really wanted to?

Imagine what he’d do to 200lb fighters.

He has power, no doubt, but Helenius is 38 and has already been knocked out by Duhaupas and Gerald Washington. Surely there has to be some context here.

The punch was soft and almost as fake as the Malik Scott 'knockout'.

Nah, he clearly hits him clean in the chops and Helenius' face contorts in slow mo.

Yeh, he’s had two good wins..

Kownacki was being groomed as another Wilder victim anyway.

Helenius didn’t read the script and ending up taking his payday.
