Haney v Kambosis 2

Post by fox »

Devin Haney just too good. George came in with a different game plan and tried his heart out but just not up to it. Devin v Loma will be an interesting fight. Both Maloneys looked pretty good against pretty good opponents. Sugar Neeks just too big and young for Suzie Q.

Kambosos may have shown more heart, but neither his strategy nor his abilities had progressed since the previous fight. An unnecessary rematch went according to the scenario.

I had no problem with the rematch. When Devin got a shot at the title he signed a contract agreeing with the rematch clause. Obviously the fight went the way we all expected but sometimes funny things happen in boxing. Plus Australia had the 2nd opportunity to see a top class American on our shores. And both fighters would’ve be paid well for doing their job yet again. George tried hard but Devin too good yet again. Now Devin can move onto Tank or Loma after completing his contractual agreements. Just my opinion.

Totally agree. Their first bout was a shutout where George hardly squared a round. I expected no difference this time and why waste one's money when the result will still be the same.
