He’s be taking care of a mandatory as well.
Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
Might as well! Errol cuts hrd to grt down to weight, stay busy with a good opponent. Didn't this guy drop Crawford in their fight, or was it the Kaval guy?

Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
I remember watching his last fight on youtube.
Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
Mandatory is fine, he can't help that.
It is what it is, but what it could have been was Crawford. And in that contex- what bloody let down.
This way everyone loses.
And if they think this is ppv worthy they can suck my balls!

Ennis (ibf) and Stanionis (wba) are not petitioning to enforce their mandatories for a shot at Errol Spence.

Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
Spence will probably pick Stanionis over Ennis.
Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
Course he will, Ennis is a bigger risk.
Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
Spence should stick to what he has promised, and that Is moving up if the Crawford fight doesn't hapoen. He fought st 152 in amateurs, he's killing himself to suck down to weight.
Make Crawford, Boots, and whoever chase him at a weight he is stronger at.

Re: Errol Spence vs. Eimantas Stanionis - Who wins?
152 in the ams when spence fought was anything above 141 up to 152; if you weighed 141.5 you were classified in the 152 division. hardly means you are some size beast at 147 if you fought 152 in the ams
shawn porter is well known to have fought at 165 in the ams, which would've only required him to weigh 152.1. doesnt make him a huge welter
spence is a good size, but he's been making 147 his whole career and shown no major issues doing it again. it would be a lame arse move to move to 154 for anyone but charlo, but theyve already pulled the friends card havent they

Porter has a win over Usyk apparently.
The criticism of Crawford is that his opponent isn't worth of a guy in top 3 P4P. I would like Spence fight Ennis if they are going to charge PPV for it.

Trainer Derek Bozy Ennis says his son, Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis will be fighting on December 17th, possibly against Emantas Stanionis.
“Boots just won an eliminator, so he’s #1 for the IBF,” said Derek Bozy Ennis to In this Corner Boxing 24 when asked Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. “We’ve only fought one time this year against the boy from Canada [Custio Clayton last May].
“We want to fight two, three times a year, and we don’t like that [inactivity for Boots]. So I talked to [Showtime executive Stephen] Espinoza and told him, ‘We need to fight. Get us something in December or something.’
“We’re supposed to be fighting in December on December 17th or something like that. I told him that we want someone in the top five. We’re not going backwards. We’re not going to ten or nine or nothing like that.
“We want top five, six, or seven, and he [Espinoza] said, ‘That’s what we’ll do, but he said we’ll see where Spence and Crawford are coming from.’ That’s what he said. Now, we found out where they’re coming from.
“Crawford is going to be fighting this boy [David] Avanesyan. That’s who we wanted to fight, but he turned us down. We’ve been asking for him. He was supposed to fight [Vergil] Ortiz one time, but Ortiz turned him down. That’s what I heard.
“We [Boots Ennis] want everyone in the top five. We asked all them guys. So that’s what we’re waiting on. I don’t know who he [Espinoza] is going to get for us, but he’s going to get somebody.
“With the way, it’s going with Spence and Crawford, we might get [WBA ‘regular’ welterweight champion Emantas] Stanionis. We might get him, or we might get [Keith] Thurman. I hope we get one of them.
“Thurman wanted $10 million to fight Boots. Come on, man. You don’t make ten million. Why would you want ten million to fight Boots? I know it’s high-risk, low reward, but you never made ten million fighting Pacquiao.
“We don’t like waiting because Boots always stays in the gym. He’s been here all week,” said Bozy.

Spence often cuts down from the high 170's, and had to cut to make 152 in ams. Can you name a bigger welter currently? He's always struggled to get down to weight, but is disciplined and professional enough to do it.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑24 Oct 2022, 21:15152 in the ams when spence fought was anything above 141 up to 152; if you weighed 141.5 you were classified in the 152 division. hardly means you are some size beast at 147 if you fought 152 in the ams

As far as not fighting Mell, yes. Crawford had the same thing with Bradley. Canelo has the same thing with Mexicans, and black guys for the most part.

ya, dont think canelo's ever fought a mexican dude or a black dude
if spence would go up to 154 but not have the big undisputed fight it would be a waste of time, hardly anyone there to fight

Trolling as usual I see. I didn't say Canelo never fought a black guy or mexican. He rarley fights black guys, and recently said he is now against fighting mexicans.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑26 Oct 2022, 12:34 ya, dont think canelo's ever fought a mexican dude or a black dude

By the way, who are your favorite fighters? Or do you just troll other folks that have them. I can be very good at trolling too.

Errol Spence Jr. Undecided: Fight Stanionis or Move up to Super Welterweight
For weeks and months, everything had seemed to go smoothly in the negotiations for the long-awaited fight between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford. And then, as time got close for both to sign the contract, everything went down the drain.
Of course, each fighter has accused the other of being the villain, the irresponsible one who deprived the public of this mega unification match between the two best boxers of the 147-pound division.
The surprising blow was given by WBO Champion “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) when he announced that his immediate rival would not be Spence Jr., but instead he would face Russian David Avanesyan (29-3-1, 17 KOs). The fight is scheduled for December 10 in Crawford’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.
At the beginning of the year, Stanionis was in first place in the WBA ranking and had been declared the mandatory challenger against Cuban Yordenis Ugás, then super-champion of that organization. However, Stanionis stepped aside in order to allow Yordenis to face Spence Jr. in a unification match.
To compensate Stanionis, the WBA decided that he would fight against the Russian Radzhab Butaev for the “regular” belt, which the Lithuanian won by split decision on April 16th in Texas, where on the same evening Spence beat Ugás by technical knockout in the tenth round.
The WBA then mandated that the winners of Spence-Ugás and Stanionis-Radzhab would face each other next, but then the Lithuanian gave up his right so that Spence and Crawford would have the opportunity to match up against each other and determine who would be the first welterweight to hold boxing’s four biggest titles.
However, since Crawford then established an agreement with Avanesyan, now Stanionis has claimed his right to face Spence Jr., just as the WBA had decreed months before.
“I have the first right to fight with Spence,” Stanionis said on social media. “If he does not fight or forfeit the WBA Super Champion title, there will be no WBA Super Duper Champion and only the one I have will remain.”
It’s unclear if Spence will agree to face Stanionis, because he recently expressed that for some time now, he’s been having a difficult time making the scale at 147.
Errol Spence commented on Terence Crawford fighting David Avanesyan next: “I don’t know who that is… Everybody sees now who is holding the fight up… I’ve got to talk to my manager, but I already told them I’m at this weight too long. I don’t know. I might be moving up.”
